I am coming back to google review to change my five star review, as incident happens. After I gave my good review and paid my bills for the repair, I went to the garage to pick up the car on Feb 8, I noticed that the headlight that I ask Dale to fix is not fix properly. I went home and contact Dale, he said he would take the car back in and fix it, I personally said let’s wait for a warmer day. I got back to him on last week Sunday, ask him to save me a spot in the future coming weeks to help me, as my father is just really unhappy that we spent the money and the headlight is not fixed. I contact Dale for three days, calls, texted, until Tuesday morning his son informed me he is not feeling well with a heart attack. I wished him to get better and tell him not to worry about my issues, health is important. Until this Saturday, when I try to refer Dale to my neighbours, I saw someone has giving Dale a review about coming to the garage, and had the car serviced. I contacted Dale with no reply again, so I decided to contact police for help, and he picked up the phone. I texted him once again and asked him to gave me a solution by the next week Tuesday, he basically just gave me an answer saying that he doesn’t wanna deal with me anymore and I said please refund me the labour cost, I guess that not what Dale will do. He always claimed to save you a lot of money and self promoted his business on other website with his username, I am silly enough to trust a mechanic that I have never worked with before base on all the positive ratings. Business with mindset like this will fail itself. I have been to other garage before, I would say it is definitely not cheap, and I believe Dale wanna fix the light with intention, but he is not a good mechanic at all, and will not give u a refund for things he messed up.

Analysis after analysis, diagnostics after diagnostics, test after test, (all at my own expense) only Dale had it figured out quickly that I had an electrical issue and also because of his vast experience and knowledge, using only basic handheld measuring tools that any mechanic should have in his or her toolbox....I recommend this garage...it's worth the drive to Barrie....(I live in Brampton) dreading the day that he 'retires.

Amazing and quality service at a more than affordable price. Genuine good-hearted gentleman, always willing to give advice, throughly explain an issue or aid in virtually anything you’ll need to get done. Highly recommend if you prefer quality work from someone you can trust

Found Dale just through the internet and how lucky I was! This guy really knows his stuff and is more than happy to teach. Went for fluid changes and learned more than I could have imagined. I would recommend Dale as your go to guy for your vehicle

We made an appointment to use one of the bays to change over to winter tires and do a brake service on 2 of the family vehicles. Unfortunately when we arrived the bays were unavailable because of delays in receiving parts for the vehicles already on the lifts. Dale was extremely apologetic and did his best to help us out. We were able to use shop tools to get the tires changed outside but we'll have to try again to get into the shop to do the rest of the repairs.

Had a very pleasant first experience at diy garage earlier today. Within minutes Dale had my car up on the lift and was dishing out knowledge and helping me inspect and diagnose my brake problems. Looking forward to my next visit would recommend DIY garage to anyone looking to get work on their vehicle done. Thank you again Dale!

Dale is simply amazing and very nice guy. Helped me even when his garage was closed as I just found him outside his garage . Coming with Army background he still has the ethics left and doesn’t fleece you like the other garage . He will exactly tell you the problem and will try his best to solve it with minimal possible amount. Just my first visit but I know where to go next time if I have any problem with my car . Thanks Dale and DIY garage for saving my day .
