Really amazing bao, I fell in love once i tried it. Really upset i didnโ€™t try the ramen but the bao alone blew me away. Amazing environment and great staff. Line up was a bit long but it was 100% worth the wait. Star off because the Baoโ€™s pretty small so i think itโ€™s a bit overpriced for the sizing.

Be patient and come hungry! Thereโ€™s a line for a reason! I had the tantanmen and shared a buttermilk chicken bao, both delicious. The broth is definitely the star of the show. I wish there were half servings of the ramen - the bowl is MASSIVE! More than moneys-worth.

One of the few restaurants open late night on a weekday. Decided to try a couple of their baos during our stay in Victoria. Ordered Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Chinese BBQ, Mala 5 Mushroom, and the Taiwanese Classic (from left to right). It was 4 for $16. They were cute tiny baos, good for an appetizer and the flavors were on point. I wished they were full sized though! The Mala 5 mushroom had a good spicy kick to it.

There seems to always be a line up for eat in and take out so we were excited to try it. Great flavours! The buns are soft and the filling are so complementary. We had the Traditional and the Chinese and we canโ€™t wait to try more.

Great hidden gem. The decor is so cool. The staff are friendly and service is great. The food is delicious and authentic , it is a mix of Asian from East and SouthEast Asia region. The Viet coffee is very authentic; I thought the noodle portion could be a little bigger for someone with a large appetite like myself.

Stopped by here for a quick snack - they got a good deal 4 BAO for $16. We tried the fried chicken, pork shoulder, black bean croquette and deep fried Nutella banana. All of the baos were fantastic - fried chicken one was prob my favourite. But overall the best thing was the BAO bun itself.... Soft, warm with just enough elasticity... Delicious!

Presentation looked good with a trendy atmosphere but we ordered take out as itโ€™s easier with kids as we stayed a block away. We found the soup base with the tan tan men and port belly ramen a bit too salty and not the flavour we were looking for. The buns were good but a bit small and on the pricy side at $4/each. We liked the chicken in the bitmap but the pork was all soggy from curry sauce. Not sure if this the same Bao in Vancover which weโ€™ve never been to but just had higher expectations as were a bit disappointed.

Our final meal in Victoria before heading back home. They donโ€™t take reservations so we arrived just before they opened to ensure we get seated. You need to give and pay your order before getting seated so know what you want ? so many dishes to try! ? Korean Fried Chicken bibimbap ? Mei Fun Stir Fry ? Taiwanese Classic bao ? Chinese BBQ bao ? Pork Meatball Banh Mi bao ? Buttermilk Fried Chicken bao We devoured the delicious food just in time to walk around Chinatown before heading to the ferry to go back to reality.
