About Bankview Community Association
We are located on traditional territories of the Blackfoot and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nation as well as the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III. Respectfully, we acknowledge that we share the land as people of Treaty 7.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I suppose it's like any other older neighborhood community association. Lots of open space and depending on the venue that's rented the hall, a review would be more suited for the specific function being held. As an all in all review the Community Centre is located on a large area of land with tennis courts, basketball nets, playground and lots of open field for picnicking and soccer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice place to rent for parties, although is a little hard for parking and there are stairs to access the main hall, and when its snowing it can get a little slipery! But the kitchen is very nice, its a good space for parties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a small venue in a central part of Calgar it's pretty sweet. If you are thinking of of small wedding reception or retirement party or any other special occasion with a limited budget you should look I to it. It has decent P.A. system which is great for a dj or speeches. The room holds sound really well . I just deejayed a wedding on the 7th ig eas a blast. The people were running easy and accomaditing which is always. Great venue

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great place to hold an event. We were worried about parking as there is a lot of multi family buildings in the area. But it actually worked out well. Was the perfect place for our group of about 60-70. The kitchen had more than we needed and the bathrooms were more than enough for the group. Was clean and spacious. Some of the vehicles left overnight were perfectly safe in this neighborhood as well. Thanks for having us!
