★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was asked when I gave my notice if I would recommend Hollyburn Properties to anyone. And there is no chance I would ever recommend this building. They renovated this building using the cheapest materials they could find. And when we moved out. A small set of blinds were damaged and had to be replaced. I understood that. I absolutely cannot understand the $300 they charged me for those blinds. A small piece of laminate had a chip in it. $400 because apparently the have to rip up half the floor. I've spoken to a flooring company and they have told me that is just not true. A piece of laminate can be lifted and reinstalled in seconds. For those two items I lost almost my entire damage deposit. When we cleaned the apartment we cleaned for two solid days straight. It was immaculate. They thought we repainted it was so clean. When we cleaned the bathroom we went to wipe the ceiling down in the shower and our finger went through. Indicating a leak in the ceiling. I'm disgusted with what these people have done to me. So here I am reviewing this place so people don't make the same mistake I did. DO NOT RENT FROM HOLLYBURN PROPERTIES!!! They are also one of the most expensive places to live. I rented a 2 BDRM and paid $1560 a month. Plus electric. I now have a house for cheaper than that. Save your money. Look elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This building was such a lucky find for me and my 2 dogs when we moved to the city. Good location, good view and good value!! The new building manager, Ariel, is an absolute gem!!! Always available, super friendly to talk to and you can really tell that she has put a lot of work into revamping the building's management as well as sprucing up the building's décor and amenities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall okay experience. Units are renovated and building managers have been pleasant. However, this is a smoking building (I wasn't aware when I moved in), so if the thought of your neighbours secondhand smoke seeping into your living area on a regular basis is unpleasant to you, I wouldn't recommend living here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The move in process and building manager, Ariel, are both lovely. Despite managing multiple buildings she's super on top of helping out and getting back to you. The application process is the smoothest I've had with rentals. Pleasure to deal with and actually makes you excited about moving not just going through the tedious process of paperwork.
For the building itself it's clean and everything's renovated and clean in the suites as well. The people living here are kind. The building is quiet as it has concrete so despite numerous suites you won't be disturbed. Pleasure to live in and very central near Marda Loop and Downtown. Everyone here loves pets so you'll definitely see dogs coming in and out (me included haha) but you won't hear any barking while taking a nap.
The street and the higher suites also offer a view of Downtown, which is great!

Not only was she super helpful with coordinating an earlier move in date, but she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and found the place we wanted. She is very professional and gets things done, we couldn't ask for a better building manager. We love living in this community and this apartment -- would definitely recommend this building to anyone.
