About Backyard Living Center
Sheryl and Matthew Harras were both raised in Saskatchewan. After spending some time in BC they decided to move back home to be close to family.
It was during their move to Williams Lake, BC where they ended up with their first hot tub. Sheryl was someone who did not want a hot tub. She thought they were expensive to run and has sensitive skin (so she didn’t even think she could use a hot tub). It was Matthew who convinced her that they should buy the home even if it had a hot tub.
Fast forward 6 months and she was selling Beachcomber Hot Tubs at the local hot tub store and has been ever since!

They have tubs available in stock you do not have to wait 6 months to a year for delivery like most of the competition. They are available 7 days a week for troubleshooting or just to check in on you , you will not find this level of service with any other company GUARANTEED . Their tubs a built in Canada for Canadian climate . I would recommend this company to everyone .

We bought it at the Canadian Western Agribition show. Sherryl had answers for all of our questions. We had known we had wanted one for quite a while & we just couldn’t find “the one”. After visiting with Sherryl for the week - I KNEW we wouldn’t be leaving the show without buying ours… & added bonus - we had it in less than a week!
Sherryl makes it SO EASY to keep our hot tub clean as she is always just a text away to tell us what we need to add or do to keep it maintained!
Super recommend Backyard Living Center for your hot tub purchase! We use ours everyday and we LOVE it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sheryl and the backyard living centre contacted me months ago regarding my son Owen and his (then) upcoming lower limb amputation surgery. They saw there was a fundraiser to help out our family and jumped for joy at the opportunity to donate to us. We were stunned and so grateful as we learnt about a fundraiser they were going to hold in September where proceeds would go to our son Owen.
We met up with Sheryl and the others who work at the backyard living centre and it was such an amazing experience. We got to meet for the first time ever and tour around their new location and it was so cool. They had a ton of brand new inventory and showed us different hot tubs (which Owen was mega impressed by). They even had some really cool products to make your hot tubs more spa like- like bath bombs (mind blown as I’m an avid bath bomb user).
I know this review doesn’t speak to a purchase through them, but it speaks to something better- a family based business with owners who really care about others. They reached out to us, complete strangers from them and insisted on helping- they cared about us and I just know they care about their customers and their happiness.
I highly recommend them.
You won’t be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sheryl and Matt have made the once scary to me experience of how hard it is to maintain a hot tub , relaxing and EASY.. and fun !! They are always there when you need them and have all the answers .. they truly know their stuff !! Their store is filled with all the supplies , and more that you need . I would highly recommend them for hot tubs , mainly based on the knowledge and customer service they have provided !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased our H20 XP1S hot tub from Cheryl and Mathew early November. I had to run some additional wiring, so when I was ready, they installed the tub, started it up, and gave us an overview on its operation.
Our last hot tub that we purchased about 15 years ago for our house in Saskatoon had a great price, but came without any local service, and I said I wouldn’t make that mistake again. We now live on an acreage, where it is very windy. Within a few days I realized that the heater that came with our tub just couldn’t keep up in the wind, and I told Cheryl right away that wouldn’t do. They said we could upgrade to another hot tub, but also came up with another solution to change out the 4 kw heater for a 5.5 kw. Within short order it was ordered and changed out, and that made all the difference. At no time did they ever give me the impression that I wouldn’t be looked after, and that speaks volumes to their commitment to looking after their customers.
Cheryl and Mathew were both very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. To top it off, their pricing was more than competitive for the features that their hot tubs came with, and they had a good selection of tubs to choose from in stock, or with a short delivery time, unlike some of their competitors which had months for wait times.
I would certainly recommend buying your next hot tub from Backyard Living. You won’t be sorry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very happy!! Exceptional service!! Our hot tub arrived just before Christmas. Matthew delivered it and set it up on December 24th and went through the instructions with us. We purchased the chemicals from them. Since then, every time I called with questions Sheryl had the answers. She was was so helpful teaching us how to maintain our water. One of the best purchase experiences we've ever had.

Sheryl helps with water care, making sure we are putting the correct chemicals in and is available by text to answer any questions. The whole install went very smoothly due to their knowledge they passed to us to prep - we previously did not know how to prepare. We are in tub every day - best buy we’ve made in years.
