Steve Baines, Owner & Operator
Steve grew up in rural Alberta working on farms and doing construction work from a young age. After University and over the course of his 20+ years in the construction industry, he has become an expert in many aspects of residential construction. He has won awards, sat on National, Provincial and local home building and sustainable building boards and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and practical skills along the way.
Home renovations involve a lot of problem solving and require an understanding of the complete building process from the ground up. Steve enjoys using his creativity, problem solving skills and knowledge to help home owners transform their homes into something beautiful, functional, safe and sustainable.

I wanted to make it look like the rest of the house, so I found baseboards and doors to match on Kijiji. He did a great job, considering the material I gave him to work with. He finished around the windows also and installed the ceiling tile and floors. 2 years later, I still love what he did. Thanks Steve.

He put up curtain rods, assembled furniture, put on specific locks and put in the extra time to make sure they worked as they should. I would highly recommend him, for anything you need and will certainly use his services again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had started a total home renovation project about 4 years ago. Like most DIY renovations, it stalled at about 90% completion. I finally decided to stop waiting on my own inabilities and hire a much more competent and skilled renovator. Boy did I ever choose the right one. Steve came over the next day and quoted me for the project I had requested. Upon seeing some of the other unfinished projects in my home, Steve asked if Id like to have him finish them up. I jumped at the chance and couldn't have been happier that I did.
Steve was hard at work for 5 days in my home and finished everything! Baseboards, Painting, Tiling, Flooring, Trim, Doors, Caulking, Drywall and much much more. Seriously, he can do pretty much anything. Anything he can't do, his wife will come and help out, and/or his kids. They were all here working hard. Great family business. I honestly noticed little things for the next little while that Steve had fixed without me asking or even realizing. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a little help with major or minor projects. His help is invaluable.
Pricing was fair, work was done promptly, finished product was of the highest quality and they are genuinely good people.
Choose Steve and his family, you wont be disappointed with the work or with the workers.

We'd had a couple of similar price quotes and decided to go with B3 due to their availability working well with our schedule. We cannot say enough how very pleased we were with the gorgeous deck that they built for us!!!!!! It cost the same as your standard wood deck but looks nothing like it!!! Great work ethic and very well built and sturdy product. Passed inspection with flying colours. Everyone has commented on how awesome our deck looks! Would definitely recommend and will definitely hire them again in the future for any other major projects. Thank you again B3!
