I ordered the mixed shawarma plate (chicken and beef) with a side of falafel - $30 on Uber eats after the promotional discount offered. The food in general was very bland and the meat cooked terribly. Although they called it shawarma I'd be surprised if it was cooked on a spit, and even if it was it had definitely been finished on a flat top or pan like they do at cheap shawarma spots like osmows. Portions were pretty small, aside from the serving of hummus, and overall quality and value lacked quite a bit. The most disappointing was the pita, which they advertise as made in-house and was what I was most excited to try. They clearly gave a run of the mill mass produced pita. I wish I could say I would give them another try but with so many other delicious options in the city it's a hard pass.

We weren’t that hungry, so we could have ordered 2 platter to share among us. The ambiance is great and the art on the wall is great. They really know how to bake the bread, hummus and garlic sauce. The BBQ was fine and we enjoyed ordering the selected platters. Can’t wait to try their falafels

My suggestion is the Jerusalem style street food meal. Both Chicken and beef are tender and well seasoned. My only recommendation to the restaurant is to warm up the pita to enhance its flavour when combined with the hummus, garlic paste and rice. Definitely if you are around the area try it. Next time the falafel are on my culinary radar!

Other things like falafel, humus and rice all tasted good. But for the price, I would expect nothing less than freshly cut off.

I really wanted to give a 5 star rating but was disappointed with a few things the good things the dessert cake, spiced rice hummus and sumac fries were amazing! The quality was really good and taste was simplistic yet effective ? Let me point out that the falafel was one of the best I've had in Ontario, a little dry but straight up delicious the bad things As you can see in the photos below, the chicken shawarma looks really bland and it tasted worse than it looked. I've been to many gulf countries like Oman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Iran etc. And let me tell you that this is not authentic chicken shawarma at all! Also I expected freshly baked pita bread but instead I got a stale one that had fungus growing on it? These 2 things were such a major let down of an otherwise delicious meal that I had to give only 3 stars.
