We ate for their new years eve special event... The presentation was just as beautiful as the food tasted.

Great food. Feels like being at an upscale Toronto resteraunt. ***Update*** 6 years later, I'm back. Wow, it's exactly as I remembered it last time I was here. The main was so good and accurately portioned that I figuratively cleaned the plate. I have not enjoyed onions as much as this. The desert was a bit too rich for my taste. That, and the just right portion of the mains. The Old Fashioned has a bit of a delightful twist to it. Will repeat

We had a fantastic meal, all the servers were lovely and helpful. We like eating out and trying different types of food. The standard here was exceptional, by far the best quality restaurant food we’ve eaten in Saskatchewan since moving to Canada 8 plus years ago. We will definitely be back to try some more dishes.

Well made food, however cold. We had a group of 5 and were shoved into the corner by the window. The corner had a board that blocked off our view completely from the rest of the restaurant and ambiance. Horrible seating felt almost like a punishment (should really consider modifying the seating). Also it was exceptionally dark. The hostess directed us to turn the light on and then immediately after a very unfriendly bartender scolded us for turning off the light for another table. Completely ridiculous. Our meals for 2 people costed over 200$ However waitress was at least friendly and helpful. Don't think I'll be coming back. I can get a better experience and similar food elsewhere for cheaper!

I have eaten at Ayden’s countless times over the years and it is always a great time. We had the tempura shrimp and tartare for starters. The shrimp was excellent, however the tartare was a bit heavy on the horseradish and really overpowered the dish, which a bit of a disappointment. For mains we had the trout with fregula which was flawless, as well as the cavatappi with beef and pork ragu. The cavatappi was also a bit of a miss. It was still ok, but nothing special and tasted like something you could make at home with little effort. We finished our meal with the pear fritters which were great. Service was fantastic as always and we had a great night.

Saskatoon is not a very big place. Finding somewhere to eat is within walking distance in downtown. Was craving a good meal, and found Ayden to be highly recommended. I was dining by myself and found a spot at the bar thinking I'd get some banter out of the bartender since I am in town scoping out the city, people, and vibe for work. He was great at talking me into a cocktail, which was a nice start of my meal, and we weather talked for 30 seconds, of which he got super busy after and then there was no talk except if I needed to top up more drinks or order more food. The food was exceptional, he recommended the trout, which was delicious, and the chicken liver was delightful. Overall value for food, drink and experience was great. The only negative I had was that I waited almost 50 minutes for my entree order of the trout. I politely asked at 45min and said, I may have to leave if it is not here soon as it is getting late, and I was a little disappointed. The bartender explained that a large table came 5min before me and got their orders in that slammed the kitchen, he apologized, and I understood, these things happen. I'd come back and was very happy with the food quality and experience. I'd recommend to check it out if you've never been.

Such an amazing dining experience here. To be honest the menu descriptions seemed a bit intimidating but I went with the trout and it was amazing. Such an amazing dish. Really enjoyed it. I also got the friend potatoes which was also a delight, reminding me of my grandfather's fried potatoes who has since passed. We also had the drink special tonight, not sure what it was but it came with a blackberry in it and it was also delicious. We topped the night off with the apple sorbet which was the perfect balance of sweetness and loved the nuts at the bottom too! Would 100% come back here and recommend people to check it out!
