★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A level of incompetency I've rarely seen.
Had me sign everything without going over it at all, forgot twice about an extra service I'd pre-booked online, handed me the vehicle inspection without *actually inspecting the vehicle with me, and gave me absolutely no records of my own. The car lot is confusing to find and they gave no help with directions until I came back up after wandering the garage for 10 minutes.
When I returned the car, the guy was arguing with a customer in a way one probably shouldn't argue.
The icing on this terrible cake was three days later, when they called to say that I STILL HAD THE CAR. When I explained to them that I absolutely did not, he looked into it further and they had sold the car "without telling him " and left my rental open.
I will never go back. I advise you to save yourselves the hassle and find another agency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say I am impressed with the service I received from the Broadway and North Vancouver branches. Booked a cheap car online, to be collected at the Broadway branches and delivered to the North Van one about a week later.
When I got there to pick it up, I was greeted and as they paperwork was being sorted the person upgraded me to a Dodge Charger. So I got to drive my childhood dream car for a week! Loved every minute.
Returning the car to North Van was simple enough, parked the car where the signs pointed and went up the stairs (outside) to hand back the keys. Friendly guy helped me again, and it was an efficient experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd recommend this location, though I'd also recommend arriving early to your pickup — there was a big clump of people right when I got there and one customer had to wait 45 minutes to pick up her reservation. Staff were chill and accommodating despite the pileup and apologetic for the delay. Had no problems with my reservation, no nitpicking or unexpected charges on the return, and the price for vehicle quality was great. Consider getting short term rental insurance through ICBC if you don't have your own car and thus your own car insurance — it'll save you a lot compared to the option from Avis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very helpful and reasonably priced. I had to rent a car while my truck was being fixed. Due to a delay in getting parts I had to extend my rental. A quick phone call and proprietor I was able to OK it. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a nice family car few years ago, with reasonable price and the owner was very nice and he even allowed us to drive the car to airport and leave it in Avis agency. We are looking forward to visit Vancouver soon and planning to rent a car from this person again. Al.Kh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible customer service. We were told it is possible to drop off the rented car in North Vancouver (recorded call) which was however not true in reality. We were forced to drive over 20 km to the airport to return the car there. No refunds were offered, and on top of it, we were even told to pay extra money if we did not return the car that day. It took us 5 hours to solve this issue and to get back from the airport. Never ever renting again with AVIS!
