Avalon Construction - Calgary

We hired Avalon to complete our siding, roof and window fixes after that last crazy hail storm that hit the NE last June. Almost immediately the following week we were pelted with door flyers advertising roof and siding contractors. Not sure what to look for in a contractor or how to manage with the insurance claim, we were delighted when Avalon representative Amin, showed up at our door step in person and put our minds at ease. His knowledge and experience with the process and clear explanation of how to get both quality and value from this unforeseen disaster was admirable. He explained how we should approach the insurance company to ensure we were compensated for ALL the damages inflicted. He was extremely polite, friendly and professional. He also helped in much of the correspondence with the insurance company to get the ball rolling on our repairs. Overall Amin was extremely helpful throughout everything. He was easy to talk to and pretty fast with emails and correspondence. While we did get the runaround with our insurance company, Avalon was fast to get materials for our project in a timely manner considering much of the materials were in short stock considering the scope of the damages in our area. Once work began, their lead foreman Naz was fantastic throughout this stage. He was always polite, easy to talk to and friendly. He acquired the materials we needed and scheduled work to be done before the majority of winter hit. Even with snow on the roof, the contractors were able to do work. Once the ball was rolling, the repairs happened pretty fast. All the contractors recruited through Avalon were also very friendly, always asked if we we satisfied or had questions and were pleasant to deal with. And even as a bonus, they agreed to put siding on a small playhouse we had built in the back yard for us, using some of the scrap pieces. While there was not enough of our siding intact to match exactly, they were able to match a similar colour and it looks amazing. Overall the workmanship looks good and with Amin’s help we were even able to save some money in the process and score a reasonable warranty on the repairs as well. And we even got money for displaying their sign and referring someone else in the area. We highly recommend Avalon for your home repairs and especially Amin and Naz for their wonderful personalities, friendliness and follow through.

Avalon construction Team performed the entire roof replacement, sidings and soft metal works at my place. The work was conducted in a very professional manner and the team was very cooperative and good attitude .they carried out and completed their tasks on given dates and proved to be one of the best companies to work within Calgary The supervisor Nizar is a very helpful n cooperative person with an excellent attitude and always available when required any assistance and so was the sales person Tim huiniga I am very satisfied with the quality of work and it was worth the amount they charge for their entire project at my place. Highly recommend for future jobs

Had a great experience with Avalon Construction for replacing my shingles. From my initial contact with Mike, to the inspection and follow up with Naz, it was a smooth and seamless experience. The gentlemen that did the gutters, and the crew that worked on the shingles were professional, quick, clean, and respectful. I used Avalon to help repair hail damage on my house; roof/sidings/soft metals. Their communication from the beginning was clear, they were very professional with the quality of work, and more importantly the clean up afterwards. The materials were dropped off and the work was done within that same week. They were quick and efficient! We were so impressed by the cleanliness and communication. They put tarps down all around the house so that kept everything clean. Thank you very much Brian and Chris for the amazing job you both did! You were very accomodating and communicated with us through the whole process! We felt at ease the entire time the work was being done.

The Avalon team showed they were committed to ensuring I got the best possible result from my insurance company. Their advice was very helpful, especially when my insurance company tried to limit me to their preferred provider. The whole insurance project was extremely frustrating, resulting in five roof inspections and a lot of back and forth. While the hand off between Avalon team members could have been smoother, they were all equally dedicated to providing useful information and working hard to ultimately secure a fulsome repair that I was very pleased with. The Avalon team was really great to deal with, from start to finish. Each of the trades involved in repairing the hail damage were polite, professional and very respectful. They were great at leaving everything tidy and neat before each of them left for the day. Whenever I had any questions, responses were quick and helpful. My gate was lightly damaged through the process and when I brought it to their attention, it was repaired immediately, even better than it was before.
