NEVER EVER NEVER COME HERE THEY ARE EXTREMELY UN-PROFESSIONAL AND YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH DISRESPECT AND ATTITUDE, background info about me, I'm 20 years old with pains in my body and I suffer from mental health problems. SO I had an appointment at 4pm yesterday November 18th 2020, I was asked to fill out some paper work and as soon as i finished, I sit down and wait roughly 30 minutes, after another 15 minutes I kindly ask the secretary how long the doctor might be because i have an appointment at 5:30 she tells me with attitude that I should give at least one hour between appointments, (which I did) and tells me its not her problem . then after I call my father to tell him I'm going to be a bit longer so he comes up to check on me because he knows these situations don't do well with my mental health, and he asked the secretary how long it might be because I had an appointment, she responds again with attitude and says that this is not her problem and for us to speak with the doctor, she then gets frustrated leaves to call the doctor and the doctor comes out and says "do we have a problem here". my father respectfully says that he was not expecting that kind of attitude from a "medical professional" and the doctor karasik again with attitude says "sometimes I take long sometimes I don't, I'm not busy now so do you want to be seen or not ? " so my father and I decided this was extremely unprofessional, rude and had affected my mental health that day and we left. NEVER COME HERE YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH DISRESPECT AND ATTITUDE ASK FOR A DIFFERENT DOCTOR THAT IS ACTUALLY A PROFESSIONAL

Im looking for a Rheumatoid his Receptionist was extremely rude and says keep in mind he is 70 and has restricted his practice so I asked if she knew of another Rheumatologist she said nope I said there is no there in this doctors network she said nope.i find this hard to believe to be true

Unfortunately wasted time meeting with Karasik few times who could not give any good advice. Suffering from arthritis on hands and toes. He could not make any recommendations and said that my test results are ok. My pain is stronger and stronger, joins are more swollen and he is just recommending Pilates on top of my yoga and swim classes, pain killers and bread feeding pills that apparently helped his other clients that suffer from arthritis. He was on the phone with 2 different clients during my appointment. The secretary is not exactly friendly and they make it very hard to get an appointment. He does not care about patients and leaves the room without even asking if he answered your questions. He is not trying to understand the root cause of the issue. I would avoid this office - don't loose time and find a better specialist.

Dr. Arthur Karasik has been treating me for over 25 years. He is extremely knowledgeable on all forms of arthritis. I have RA and osteoarthritis for over 40 years now. Dr Karasik has kept me out of a wheelchair lifestyle. I am grateful to have him as my Rheumatologist. He set up an appointment to for me to see an orthopedic surgeon at T. W. H. In Toronto. As a result of this I have two new knees and can stand tall and straight as well as walk again without agonizing pain. His office is busy he is a specialist. His secretary has over 2000 patients to keep in order. That's a hectic day I'm my opinion. She does a fine job and deserves thanks and a tea or coffee brought in is a nice touch as well. Be grateful for these people they have devoted their lives to medicine. I am Grateful!!

Wow, just wow, one word. Not sure if I can give -1 star or less. I've dealt with doctors in the past and this is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. Merely asking about the time of an upcoming appointment gets you a nasty response from the secretary. My daughter had an appointment this afternoon and after sitting there for an hour I came in to assist her as she wasn't getting a professional response from the secretary. This triggered the doctor to come out like a bully asking "Is there a problem here". Upon explaining the situation he said that he takes his time, which is understandable, however, fix your scheduling to avoid this sort of thing or warn your patients prior to coming in that you may be waiting a long time. The unprofessional attitude not only of the doctor but of his staff was extremely disappointed, during such a difficult time where people are afraid to be out he keeps you sitting there for an extended period of time. I will be contacting my family doctor to ensure that patients are warned in advance of the unprofessional nature of this "professional".

Dr. Karasik is a wealth of knowledge! I know many patients whose lives he has changed. As I have seen he has an extremely busy practice so the occasional wait time should be expected. He is very thorough with his treatment plans and I would recommend to anyone suffering with RA.

Dr. Karasic, is extremely thorough, caring and knowledgeable. His assistant is very helpful and caring. I am very grateful for all the care that I have received for many, many, many years.
