β β β β β I submitted a contact form via their website a couple of weeks ago and they didn't respond. So, this time I went somewhere else for an eye exam.
One time, I pointed out to a guy working there that the tissues they give people to dry their hands after washing them left paper fibres on my fingers; not ideal when you are taking out or putting in contact lenses.
The guy said "some people like that."
Some people like putting paper fibres in their eyes?!
Maybe he is the type that takes the opposite side of a debate at every opportunity, or maybe he is just dumb.

β β β β β Brutal customer service, Optometrist is mediocre. Definitely would not recommend. Receptionist needs a course in customer service. How they got a 3.9 review average ( like that's something to brag about) I don't know. Looking for a new Optometrist.

β β β β β Everyone working here seems so depressed to be there.
The receptionist is very rude, and unfriendly. The main reason I won't be coming back is because of the her. She makes coming here unpleasant. People will only tolerate that for so long. She is like that with other customers as well.
I'll shop somewhere else that values my patronage.
Its too bad because I liked my Optamratist there.

β β β β β Dr. Wang is a fantastic doctor, however, the staff at the ordering desk has convinced me not to return. The office is not welcoming and 1 member of the staff went out of her way to make my experience unpleasant.
The pandemic has been challenging on all of us but that doesn't mean a professional should treat you poorly because you have a cough (anyone else find being outside causing dry throat and congestion?). Even once told that I had received my first shot and that I was not sick she continued to treat me poorly. Even once I spoke to her she continued to be rude.
The person at the front desk, Wendy, took my call when I called to let the office know that I wouldn't be back. She said that behaviour does not reflect Dr. Wangs beliefs (no doubt there - she is a great doctor) and that she hoped I would reconsider.
While I have advanced needs for my eye care I cannot be in an office where I would need to interact with someone so rude and unprofessional.
I'm disappointed but hope this review will help people make an informed choice. Dr. Wang is fantastic but some of the staff are lacking and have soured the entire process for me.
