★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trauma-informed practice + queer/trans-affirming + wild massage skills & knowledge = a basically perfect experience. Michelle checks in throughout treatment, making sure consent is ongoing, and even asked me about body dysphoria specifically. Michelle also sent me a very detailed email post-treatment with instructions and tips on self-care I can do between treatments. Highly recommend!

Michelle is a brilliant RMT who treated me post a shoulder dislocation, acupuncture with Lamia was great and Dr Tania is a thorough and exceptional ND. Would highly recommend!

I have received treatment from multiple practitioners, all of whom are incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and professional. The office is beautiful, comfortable and clean, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Aurum for any and all of the treatment options they offer!

Not only did she help me identify the root cause of my ailment - when conventional methods offered me so little - she was also a knowledgable, humble, empathetic and humorous practitioner. This made the process so much more enjoyable. I actually looked forward to our encounters, and her willingness to really listen to other aspects of my life allowed us to have a more holistic approach to my health. What I also liked was that unlike other more militant NDs, Dr. Tania was far more realistic when creating a plan with me. She even had to reign in my desire to go all out, in the name of a more steady but in the end more lasting approach. This showed her experience not just as a doctor but as someone who walked the talk and knew the pitfalls first hand.
I also liked the vibe at the clinic, from the friendly receptionist to how 2 practitioners worked together in my care. Highly recommend this clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Aurum Medicine and Wellness Clinic is a gem. I have worked with Dr. Tania Tabar (naturopath) for years and my experience has been life changing. She is incredibly wise and the care provided goes above and beyond to listen to patient needs, follow up and treat them inside and out. Also Her approach to acupuncture has been a great way to support my health plans and has resulted in noticeable improvements.
All the staff I’ve come across during my appointments are friendly and welcoming. If I’ve needed to make a last minute change to an appointment, reception has always been kind and understanding and do their best to accommodate. The clinic is a safe and pristine space. The beautiful environment reflects the high quality of professionalism and care you’ll receive.
Recently have started being treated by Michelle, the RMT, and she is the best! She creates a safe space receiving consent before treatment. She’s the most knowledgeable and thorough RMT I’ve ever had who really helped and healed. Received so much wisdom and tips for treatment post appointment.
It’s a gift to be a client of Aurum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend Aurum! It's a really nice space and wonderful practitioners, with a lot of word-of-mouth patients -- I know because a number of friends also come here! I saw Dr. Tania Tabar (Naturopath) for a number of years and more recently Michelle Sciuk (RMT) and Mackenzie Kinmond (Psychotherapist - and has since moved her practice), right up until I moved out of province. I previously consulted Dr. Sairupa Krishnamurti (Naturopath) and Lamia Gibson (Acupuncturist) at the former Six Degrees Acupuncture, whose care in the early days of a chronic health diagnosis I will always be grateful for. I deeply appreciate the support I received from each of these practitioners over the years, which in every case was compassionate, non-judgemental, creative and empowering. And practitioners will share notes with each other (with the patient's permission) which is so helpful for holistic healthcare. I always felt safe, seen and lifted <3
