★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I we really liked the railroad fried pork chop rice box. The owner is super nice and her food makes me think back to the lunch boxes I can get at or around the train stations in Taiwan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popcorn chicken and pork chops seems to be from overnight. Marinated tofu taste and smells weird. Personally prefer Taiwanese food from public market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my go to place for a quick lunch. Parking is easy. Price is affordable. Food is delicious. I think most items on the menu only take 5-10mins to prepare, but of course it also depends on how busy it is.
My favorite is the braised pork combo. Large portion, comes with lots of side dishes, a soup, and most importantly it tastes great. Especially the braised pork!
Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This establishment, is not your basic suburb shopping mall food stall. This is some delicious authentic full-fledged Taiwanese cuisine.
The owner/chef (or Teacher, as she would like to be referred to), is a living and talking encyclopedia of folklore and history. Ever wondered why preserved pork with rice is a Taiwanese staple? Or interested in a piece of delicate yet important history in Asia?
You see, when you start a business, cooking foreign cuisine, one must adapt the flavour to suit the majority needs. No matter how stubborn you are, you will eventually have to do this, to make any profit in the very least. The Authenticity is just homey.
This is history, happening now, and taught through the spoken stories of the elders of a community.
Come by, and immerse yourselves fully in the rich and vibrant culture of the beautiful Formosa, Taiwan. And the price tag too, very affordable.
