★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give this store a zero I would. I went in about ten years ago and was made to feel like I was barging into a private home. I was stared at the entire time I was in the store and didn’t even get a hello when I arrived.
More recently, I decided to give them another chance. I went to their website to see if they were even open during all this Covid mess only to find that their website hasn’t been updated in over 3 years. I emailed and got the information in about 3 days. However, because they are only allowing 2 customers in the store at a time(totally reasonable), I can’t shop in store. I have 2 small children. I explained what I needed and got a response that there were 2 possibilities in stock. I then asked her to send me a couple of pictures of those options so I could choose. No response for over a week so I called with the same request. It’s been over a month with no response. I gave up and went to Amazon. So much for supporting local.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was looking for Aida cloth by the yard and had called almost everyone between Chilliwack and Vancouver. Turns out to be a very elusive item. When I called to check to see if there was any possibility Aunt Debbie's might have it, they were very kind on the phone, and let me know they had the fabric in multiple different sizes and colors. Headed there immediately to buy the fabric and again was greeted very kindly at the door. Wasn't able to get everything I wanted today because of my budget, but I will be back in the future for my cross stitching needs.

She recently took time away from some much needed stock organizing when my friend was desperate to match her embroidery skeins. This is the kind of customer service that makes a shop successful.
