Very beautiful, well equipped, and inexpensive. The lake is very nice and clean, and the area is well taken care of. It's quiet here during weeks and regular weekends - good for weekend getaway. They have nice walking/ski trails, as well as a good playground, horseshoe pits, ball diamonds, and a soccer field. The 'booth' by the beach serves food and sells your basic necessities.

The lake is spring fedand so clean. Shallow for a long way so if you have children it's great the campgrounds are kept clean. 9 hole golf course has grass greens. Its a tough little course but very nice to play.

Beautiful park, unfortunately they've had electronic payment options down for awhile and that added some added frustration with trying to locate an ATM at the other end of the park then return to the gate. All in all a hidden gem of a park, washrooms could use an upgrade as they're a little questionable

Stayed at Atton's Lake twice this year, and had a fantastic time each visit. All of the interactions we had with park staff were great, they were all friendly and helpful. I mistakenly booked an overflow site and got a call from the team, who took care of correcting my booking for me. You'll want to have an extension cord and some extra hose as some of the services are on the opposite side of the site. The sites we stayed in (North campground) were fairly big, and were nice grass sites, with plentiful garbage bins (emptied on a regular basis). The playground was in good shape, and there were horseshoe pits (but we didn't use them, so can't comment on maintenance). The beach was nice, with great sand, and clean water - didn't see any seaweed, algae, or foam at the swimming area. Some of the sites didn't have great tree coverage, so if privacy is high on your list, you might want to check out sites before booking. All-in-all, we definitely like Atton's and will be back!

Favorite place to go on the summer. Always tons of things to do whether it's tournaments, beach parties, boating, kayaking, etc. Love the small community and all the people I get to meet. The park is very clean and well kempt and the lake is great to swim in
