Great service the engine was ready in 7 days, Normand knows his stuff. I can't wait to put it down and try it out! Re.. the engine runs like new runs smooth does not take any oil. It goes back and forth to Montreal every day, now that the break-in is over, all you have to do is put another 350,000klm on it (honda ridgeline 3.5 vtech) if you like your car, this is the place to have your engine redone.

The service is fast and very courteous. Luc made himself available to accommodate my schedule (2 hours drive from home) and answer my questions. You can see it when you meet Luc and his team that they love what they do and are concerned about pleasing their customers. The job is well done and it took very competitively, it's worth the detour. I highly recommend these "well equipped experts" to anyone looking for a machinist.

Hello Everyone, I own a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500. It has a 5.7l Hemi and I bought it brand new in June 2014. I work with this truck and recently turned 300,000 km. Returning from a trip to Texas, my engine started making a strange noise, a metallic tapping sound. Dealer replaced flywheel but engine noise was not rectified. Removed oil pan and found copper filings in the pan. Source of engine noise was still not determined and tearing engine down was the only option left. My personal mechanic, recommended I bring my truck to RM Moteurs, in Mtl-North, and let them do the rebuild. That's exactly what I did! 8 days later I picked up my truck with a fresh Hemi rebuild, under its hood. My vehicle has a newer A/C system that RM was not equipped to refill so they offered to reimburse me the costs to refill it at my Dealer. At Dealer the A/C system could not develope a vacuum and needed to be repaired before filling. Norman at RM asked me to bring my truck back to his shop to investigate why A/C system was leaking. He asked me to leave it with him for a couple of days and offered to pay for a rental vehicle during that time period. RM purchased a ring kit, from Dodge Dealer near them, replaced all the A/C system rings, sent my truck to that Dealer and had A/C system refilled with no leaks. All this was at RM Moteur's expense and inconvenience to me was not an issue! Norman Perron is a man of his word, his customer's satisfaction is his paramount concern and he made sure that I was truly a happy client. The RM staff are experts in their industry and compassionate about the relationships they manage with their clientel. I highly recommend RM Moteur to anyone who uses a motor and needs repair. Thank you RM Moteur, my experience with you was excellent! Praise The Lord ?

After 55 000 km, my rebuilt motor was leaking from the valve covers and the timing cover. This was due to over-torqued valve cover bolts that basically destroyed the head gasket and not enough rtv on the timing cover. When I brought this issue up with the supervisor, he put the blame on me: "you must have abused the motor, we have been rebuilding motors since 1979 and our motors last as long (or longer) than original motors". He would not take responsibility even though it was clearly an assembly issue and not abuse/user error. It is one thing to have made a mistake like this on a motor rebuild but to then blame the client for their own mistake is simply unprofessional and ridiculous.

Rebuilt my 4.6L 2v and 50 000km later, valve covers were leaking because they were over tightened along with not enough rtv on the timing cover corners resulting in an engine leaking a lot of oil. Blame's it on me for "abuse" when it's clearly poor assembly. Engine runs great but with this attitude, I'm glad it was just a leaking engine because I can't imagine how they would handle a major problem.
