★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The woman helping me seemed lost and kept making mistake after mistake and had to get her supervisor to help her several times. On top of that, she misquoted me on prices and screwed up my transaction costing my an additional $28. Worse, she told me that I would be charged 3% if I used my credit card. I used my credit card for a $29 transaction which should have only been a charge of .87 cents. Instead, they charged me a $2 fee which is 7%. Now, 3% versus 7% is a big difference especially on large transactions. I called her on it and she made up excuses that they always charged that. I explained to her that Astro Insurance is charging people twice the amount in fees and stealing people's money to which she had no reply. Her supervisor than stepped in and gave me a twoonie to try and smooth things over and pretend that this all didn't happen. I said that what she and everyone at Astro Insurance was doing is fraud and misleading people. If I didn't check my receipt and called them on their lies, I would have been taken for additional fees.
DO NOT trust these people, company or other registry agencies as they will dupe you and steal your money blind!!!
It is a shame that people and organizations have to be so scrupulous and unethical!!!
I will definitely not be returning to Astro Insurance and not trust anything anyone says to me anymore.
