Southern Alcare Manor (SAM) offers a client-centred, abstinence-based recovery treatment program. The program is provided in an in-patient setting, with residents living at SAM while attending our program. Our program has worked successfully for a diverse group of people, and we are aware that addiction touches every walk of life. The program at SAM will help you become aware of aspects of addiction that you may not have understood. You will discover what drives addiction and come to understand the importance of taking time to heal and get good at recovery.
While at SAM you will work with a team of professionals that will provide education and counsel in the healing process. Because of our client-centred philosophy, you will come to understand what you need to enhance your individual sobriety. Hopefully, this program will increase your ability to have happy healthy relationships at home and at work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Southern alcare manor is partially responsible for me being able to maintain my recovery and develop social skills that I greatly lacked before coming there. Anybody needing thirdstage recovery would be foolish not to consider at least there day program that offers the same programming as residents without actually having to live there. If I could give it more stars I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a resident at S.A.M. And was sadly kicked out dew to supposedly drug dealing which I was not! They never investigated into it and went off of assumption. To me this place shows more of a money grab then it does of a support towards the community. I would not invest my time into this place if I were you. Kills more people then it helps. Ask about the true statistics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's good at first until they're not able to control you through leverage. I'm more intelligent than they're used to and I pretty much stayed sober on my own. Nepotism was disappointing and my assigned GOOFY life/ recovery coach is a quintessential example of it. Under qualified is an understatement. If they want you out, they'll find something. It's a revolving door of room-fillers and Southern alcare manor kills more people than it helps. Fact.
