★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In general, we are not satisfied with their customer service. Response time is not satisfactory. There was a posting of payment through automatic debit from bank account which was allegedly "missed" (???).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 85 year old father passes away with a very modest debt on a credit card. Had purchased "insurance" when he got the card. Assurant sends multiple letters encouraging us to fill out relatively long form, add attachments and post at our expense to make the claim. Claim then gets refused because it was not an "accidental" death. I think we can all safely assume this little nuance was not explained to him when he was convinced to pay for this service. Disgusted.
