V	Victor Ambrosía on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am unsure of how exactly to express my opinions of this company. If i could give Ashcroft Homes a zero-star review, i very much would. The workmanship of the homes? It’s ok. Rushed, but a pretty ok standard. The people that work here are the reason i am giving this review. They treated me like I should be grateful to work with them and that my opinions and desires did not matter. Beware, Whitney Maronda was the only good thing about this company, and she is now a realtor (hmm, wonder why). They tell you you can make changes, then the house is built with none of the discussed changes. You ask for a rounded wall feature, the GM said they won’t do it as it will be outdated and it is expensive. Yet IM the one PAYING for these upgrades, so the answer should always be yes if possible?? I felt disrespected by every person i came across. Additionally, they seem to be having a TON of employee turnover. The staff photo i saw when first starting with ashcroft & the people i actually saw/met? Completely different (with the exception of upper management). A sleezy company that is after one thing only: $$$$$. Beware. Seriously.

They took the time to answer all questions and were above and beyond supportive! Any concerns we had were not only addressed but remedied immediately! I would definitely recommend this builder to anyone.

Ashcroft is leading the industry in their design, and build processes. They have an AMAZING group of staff you get to work with that are incredibly knowledgeable, and you get to customize and design your home with their professional team that guide you along the way! When you move into your dream home it doesn't end there. They also have great staff that do walkthroughs and warranty appointments with you after you move in . If you are in the market for a new home, you owe it to yourself to check them out. ALSO they are building homes in most of southern Alberta, as far east as Taber, and as far west as Sparwood BC.

I was able to review the plans before building started and they worked with me to stay within my budget. The workmanship of the trades they use is amazing and I'm very happy with the result. If/when I choose to build again, Ashcroft will be my first stop. They have tight timelines to get you into your new house quickly, and for that I was grateful. Thank you again for the amazing home you helped me build.

We have been trying to get the warranty work done on our house and they have avoided almost all issues except for simple fixes which half the time weren't even done properly. They have used COVID as an excuse that they couldn't bring tradesmen into our house and now that we are passed our 1 year mark, they refuse to complete any work. They convince you things will get fixed but it's just "taking time" until they get you passed the one year mark and then by the time you file an Alberta Home Warranty claim, it's too late and they can't even deal with the issues for you. They also missed giving us notice half the time they did bring in tradesmen. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! And staff are lacking in communication skills! A house is a huge investment! Do not waste your time or money on Ashcroft!

Of course in our mind the star of the show was our sales consultant Megan. We knew going in there would be hiccups and possible delays outside of Ashcrofts control, the phenomenal part to me was how every little detail was dealt with so professionally. Communication with Megan was constant and I always felt like she made it work for us, the client. I felt 100% comfortable knowing we could always lean on Megan and ask questions at any time. Additionally Melissa and Hannah from the design centre were fantastic at understanding our vision and making it come to life. These girls have amazing style but also understand each client is different and the importance of achieving individual styles in each home. We always had such a great time during our onsite visits with Brent, he sure knows his stuff! Along with great laughs and conversations we left feeling confident in our home. Recently we have had the opportunity to connect with Julie and let me just say she should teach a masters class in communication. This team makes the home building process fun, I am already itching to do it again one day!
