Artista Homes is a family-owned company, guided by the 60-plus years of construction-education, experience and enthusiasm of patriarch Antonino Cotroneo Sr.
Over the past two decades Artista Homes has established a niche in Manitoba’s luxury home sector by introducing innovative designs, ideas and quality craftsmanship in custom home building, that surpasses all expectations. Four brothers – Frank, Tony, Enzo and Gino Cotroneo - lead the family-owned design-build company together with their brother-in-law Fabio Imbrogno.
With a focus on high quality and excellence, Artista Homes is tightknit group of skilled professionals with an unwavering dedication to workmanship. Artista builds for the right reasons, for the beauty they create, for the lives they better and for the love of a craft. Each owner brings decades of experience in architecture, design, construction management, and new home sales. We moved back to Winnipeg after being in BC - and chose to build our first home with them in Fairfield Park over 12 years ago. The process and experience was simply amazing. The care and passion they bring to their craft was undoubted. I was privileged enough to meet Mr. Cotroneo during that first build. I saw directly where his sons commitment and high level of integrity originated. He was a home builder that ensured each aspect of the build - from digging the foundation to the finishing and drywall was infused with his passion for craftsmanship. Our relationship with his sons expanded into them becoming an extension of my family. Over the years we never hesitated to refer friends and family to the Artista brand as my confidence and excitement in the innovative homes they build and design never wavered.
Our confidence in them extended into my wife and I building with them a SECOND time on Lake Bend in Bridgwater Lakes.
From the design to possession - we truly had a ton of fun designing our second home. Our relationship with Enzo in particular is something we are so privileged to have. He readily understands and appreciates the style and design elements my wife and I like. With that said, his approach enables him to always be one step ahead of what we needed and wanted. We just celebrated our 5th year in our second Artista home. My two sons (13 and 10) to this day share how ”Mr.Enzo” built our home. We love our home - and should my wife bully me (hope she never sees this) into moving and building a third time, ”Mr.Enzo” and the Cotroneo family will be part of it.
Passion, integrity and commitment to community is what sets them apart. The sons have remained humble and grounded as they’ve grown the family business - Mr. and Mrs. Cotroneo would have it no other way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely worst builder in business. They have nice show homes. They tons of promises to get customer sign but once customer signs their true color come out. No building process. no customer service. no response. Runs their business like kids lemonade stand. You build a million dollar home with them but they don't have a designer to design your front elevation. Design was done via email. Forget about face to face meeting, they don't even have time for a phone conversation. Things that can be done in 1-2 meetings takes 3 months and still not done to satisfaction. You don't get any Artista contact during the build. Your contact point is Enzo and through email only. you send him email and whenever he wish he will reply. Some times after 3 days. sometimes after 10 days and most of the times never. I wish I knew about their customer service before signing with them.

The peace of mind knowing that your home won't fall apart after the warranty period is worth every penny. Troughout the years Enzo has always been supportive and has helped us whenever we had minor issues or questions, we have been very happy with their customer servce. I will continue to recommend them to my friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wish there was an option to give 0. I built my first home with a stock builder. Very satisfactory build process but post build customer service not so much. This time my budget was double, so I wanted to go custom. Looking at their nice looking show homes I decided to go with Artista. Very good customer service and response till they received payment for lot purchase. Everything changed after that. No customer service and no response because you are already stuck and contract is written such a way that you can't do anything. Some of their trades are good but that's all. Owners are the worst people and Enzo is worst of all. I can't believe they are still getting customers. Doesn't matter what your contract is, they have enough loop holes in contract to exploit you. They will ask any amount of money for upgrades without any justifications. Allowances for windows etc. are just for namesake. They will randomly ask for extra money saying that's beyond the standard we include in house. They won't show any calculation to justify the ask. I will never recommend them to anyone, not even to my enemy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not one to leave many reviews, but am inclined to do so for Artista Homes as my experience with this truly custom builder was extremely positive.
From the first time stepping into their beautiful show homes, the sales team and Enzo made my family feel very comfortable. Unlike some other places we visited, we did not feel pressure from Artista to purchase at any point. We asked a lot of questions and expressed our concerns about building and they were more than happy to answer and help guide us through the process.
From design to build, Enzo personally worked with us to create a truly one of a kind, custom home. He was easy to get a hold of, meet, and review details throughout the build and continues to stay in touch after possession to make sure everything is as should be.
Once we were in our new Artista home, we could easily see the difference in the craftsmanship and quality that sets this builder apart...so did all who visited. We actually felt as if we lived in our very own show home and I guess that is what it is all about.
Elliot, Enzo, the rest of the Cotroneo brothers, the architect & designers, the tradespeople, and the rest of the Artista team are truly the best in the business. We have and will continue to praise their work, refer them to friends and family and, should we build again, they will be the first ones we call!
