Rempel Builders recently completed our 2 storey home addition and renovation project. We couldn’t be happier with Ivan, John, Kevin and team. They did a spectacular job and if you didn’t know before where the addition started you would never be able to tell that it was there. Excellent design team and support throughout the entire project. Rempel Builders completed the renovation of our kitchen, main floor bathroom, and dining room in 2020. Rempel Builders worked with us alongside a designer to create a renovation plan that fit our vision for the space and available budget. The staff of Rempel Builders are excellent and take the time to resolve issues as they come. We are really happy with how the project has turned out and love our new space. Friends had recommended Rempel Builders after using them to finish their basement, and we signed up for a whole home renovation with them. Their attention to detail was apparent from day one, when Ivan and his team of contractors descended en mass to do a complete walk through of the plans. We were very impressed by the collaboration between the various trades involved, right from day one. Our designer had come up with some very complex ideas, which required creative thinking when it came to implementation. As with any major renovation, a few things didn’t easily translate from paper to design, but on those few instances Ivan and team worked closely with our designer and came up with solutions which turned out even better than originally drawn. John was our site manager and he kept the place spotless throughout the renovation. Trades were well coordinated and we never felt inconvenienced in spite of the majority of the house being in some state of renovation. The build ran on time overall, and with only a few minor adjustments to price along the way (which were well communicated and agreed before any incremental work progressed). We found Ivan and team were very particular about the quality of the work done by all the trades – they clearly take great pride in their work. The outcome exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Rempel Builders, and look forward to our next renovation with them.

Really happy with my basement renovation/insulation project. The whole process from beginning to end was professional and timely, with great advice throughout. All the sub contractors (framers, electricians, insulation sprayers, drywallers, painters) were great to work with as well. First rate service!

Our experience with Rempel Builders and their quality of work at 30 Dvoras Cove during 2018 was outstanding. It was a pleasure communicating with Ivan Plett, the project manager, during the entire scope of work. He made sure we knew what was going on every step of the way. That alone was awesome because of the sheer magnitude of the project. In the past, we did not have good experiences with a majority of renovation companies. However, at our introduction meeting, we were all made to feel very comfortable and confident under Ivan's direction and assurances. Right from the outset, Ivan was able to provide us with a preliminary plan which included the timeline for the project. Preparations were made to meet with suppliers to facilitate the selection of all the various building materials, finishes and design elements. As the work on the rebuild progressed, Ivan provided our family with daily/weekly status updates and his tradesmen on site were courteous and respectful. Workmanship was top shelf. Beyond all initial impressions and experiences with Rempel Builders and their team, the most important and reassuring element was that of their workmanship. Quality of work and attention to detail were the most impressive and pleasing outcomes of this entire process. Skilled carpenters and tradespeople were very proficient at problem solving and providing solutions to unforeseen issues in layout or design. Ivan and his team would provide us with immediate answers to any questions or were able to suggest the most practical, economic or ergonomic solution. Ivan offered advice/direction to us without compromising proper building procedures and with a view to benefit the home's aesthetics. For example, if we were to ask about an alteration or adjustment to the interior plan, he would comment on its feasibility with respect to building code and best cost option. Ivan Plett is extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise. The man knows what he's talking about. I have met many people in the construction business, being in the real estate service sector, and I would rank him among the best in residential building construction knowledge and experience. He has gained my trust as a first rate project manager. He offers his clients knowledgeable, practical options and solutions in a clear, articulate manner. I am very satisfied with my experience with Remple. Their General Manager ( Ivan Plett ), their site supervisor, tradesmen and subcontractors were all first rate. This was a significant renovation covering a 9 month period that came in underbudget at a very busy and inflationary time in the building industry ( 1920/21 ). I am a Professional Engineer by education, Chair a major construction company and have some pretty firm views on how I want things built, so I am likely not Remple's easiest client. Remple were very good at discussing construction options and brought in outside expertise to consult on more complex issues so that we ended up with the best solutions. I am also very satisfied with the quality of their work and their follow up on a post construction issue that was not of their making. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Rempel Builders demolished and reconstructed the sunroom in our home. They were a pleasure to work with, considering our needs and budget from start to finish. We appreciated their capable coordination of permits and trades, and their responsiveness to our questions and concerns.
