The table seemed a bit high, so Bal came back to our home and fitted custom legs to adjust it. Both pieces are remarkable and well done, for much less money than most anywhere else we looked. Bal took great care of us and was available throughout the process for updayes and consultation. I published pictures of the headboard and table on the website.

We chose them from word-of-mouth first then for viewing the unfinished slabs and getting to choose the ones we liked. These turned out fantastic. The grain with the black epoxy colour we chose to fill the cracks etc. is breathtaking!! We like it so much we plan in the future to have something else made by artisan
s	stan wager on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a silver maple dining room table custom made by Bal and his company. We went and picked our slab of wood and the specific legs we wanted. Their designers envisioned a gorgeous river running through it with tempered glass. When they delivered the table we were stunned with the beauty of it. It is pure artwork. The river is etched into the wood and must have taken hours and hours to create. Everyone that comes over comments on the beauty of the table. We are so pleased we are now ordering a coffee table and possibly a headboard for our bedroom. This piece would have cost double or more elsewhere. We can't wait to order and get our next pieces.

We weren't sure what we wanted but also knew we hadn't been inspired by anything we had seen - including custom made tables. Then we walked through the stock room at Artisan Hardwood Counters - the slabs of live edge wood they have in stock was incredible. And we found our table. We love it! Thank you! Our table is incredibly functional and yet it is a unique and individual piece of art! So far no one has entered our home without having their attention captured by this incredible table and bench. I'm sure we'll be back again for another piece!

This place has a huge selection of different sizes and species of wood, and the prices are very reasonable. Really happy with the maple I got. Got to see some of their display projects... Wow... Live edge wood tables with glass and marble. Gorgeous. Wood claw foot bathtubs. Excellent customer service from Bal. Recommended to phone ahead and make an appointment. Will definitely come back. Note: they have two locations here, a few doors apart. I think one is dedicated to custom projects, and the other (which I have pictures of) is the wood selection warehouse.
