β β β β β I called on a Friday morning to advise that I was planning on dropping by with two watch repairs, as per request left on Arthur's voice mail. I also requested a phone call if the 1pm time did not work. I received no call back. I arrived at 1pm to find that the store was closed even though the sign on the door states that business hours at this time are Thursdays and Fridays 1pm to 4pm. I waited until approximately 1:30 pm. I called the number and left a message that I was at the store and it was closed and that this was disappointing to me. I never received any call back. I would not recommend to anyone a business that is not reliable on hours of operation.

β β β β β Brought in a vintage Omega Constellation Watch (1950βs era automatic chronometer) that was a family heirloom and passed down from my father, and grandfather. After pricing earlier at Independent Jewellers was +/- $1500 (est. for Omega just to LOOK at it) I went to Arthurβs. He did an excellent job of repairing it, and at a very reasonable and fair price. I appreciate the art and science of watchmaking he earned over many years and I now have my watch in excellent working condition. I now wouldnβt trust it with anyone except Arthur.

β β β β β Needed a watch battery replaced on a modern TW Steel watch that had a backer plate I couldn't remove at home.
Arthur's hours at time of review are currently Thursday and Friday 1pm-4:30pm.
I showed up at 1pm and he had the battery swapped in minutes for $15. He even suggested I buy my own tools to change the battery next time. He's in business for the passion, not the money. Glad I chose to support local and don't worry Arthur I'll bring my watch back to you next time it needs a battery.
