About Arin Hiebert Company
Arin Hiebert is a graduate of the Assiniboine College culinary program (Brandon, Manitoba), is the holder of a culinary red seal, and is also an accomplished chocolatier. He has furthered his education in pastry and chocolate in Chicago (one of his favourite cities), at both The French Pastry School, and Chocolate Academy of Chicago. Arin is always on top of emerging trends in baking, and loves to bring them to life in his work. Arin competed on Food Network's Spring Baking Championship in spring of 2020, and was one of three competitors making it to the finale. He has also appeared on local media and blogs, and is always willing to talk about all things baking. (Good luck getting him to stop)! You can find Arin's work at the Fairmont Palliser hotel, on the menu at Market Restaurant Calgary, and now on arinhiebert.com, where he is excited to offer a unique collection of playfully delicious treats.

This is the 2nd year that our family has ordered the marshmallow peanut-butter square cake for our daughter's birthday. It was / is amazing!!!
Tremendous quality, flavour (huge nostalgia points with the peanut-butter squares), and customer service.
After writing this review, the only thing that I can say that I'm upset about is that I don't have a slice right now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a small milk chocolate caramel cake for my husband’s birthday. I don’t know how to describe it other than INCREDIBLE. The flavour was extraordinary and the decoration was so extravagant and gorgeous. I forgot to take a picture because we enjoyed it so quickly. A 4” cake will easily feed 6 hungry cake-eaters…or more like 10 if you’re not eating a huge piece like we did!
I will definitely order again…thank you for your wonderful service and beautiful artwork, Arin!

The CAKES (Lemon Pie, Carrots Cake and Tiramisu Cake) and CUPCAKES (pink lemonade, triple chocolate and pistachio raspberry) were beautiful, tasty, moist, flavorful and DELICIOUS!!! Honestly, this might be the BEST cake/cupcake experience we’ve had in the city!!! We highly recommend their products to anyone looking for something AMAZING and UNIQUE. We'll be ordering again for another special occasion!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the 4inch Confetti Birthday Cake with fudge inside- delish! I thought 4’’ would be good for 4 people, could easily have fed 6, or more so we had cake for breakfast too! Arin was so friendly and brought the cake to my car. I appreciated the text messages I was sent too! Great customer service! Looking forward to trying more baked creations!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, there is nothing better than one of Arin Hiebert's cupcakes or cakes - served at room temperature of course! His cakes and treats don't come from a box. If his website doesn't list your favorite flavor of cake, cookies or icing, then work with him to order something custom. Personally, I have ordered his cookies without the icing because I sometimes love his cookies plain. He is the best in Calgary!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had such high expectations after hearing about this cake/baker and I was super excited to treat my family. Although gorgeous, the cake was dry, the frosting and chocolate was overly sweet, with almost no flavour and the flavour that was there was low quality. The actual chocolate cake barely tasted like a good chocolate cake, I’ve made more moist flavourful cake using $2 grocery store boxes. This was such a sweet flavourless cake I felt so sick after. I hate writing reviews like these, but this was such a let down for us all. I’d never order again or recommend it unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the PB Marshmallow cake for my husband to celebrate Father’s Day and he said it took him back to his childhood! So glad Arin makes gluten free options available and also delivered with such care! The cake tasted decadent and is 3 tall delicious layers with excellent frosting / cream and cake ratio. We had the 6 inch and it can easily serve 16! Can’t wait to try other goodies from Arin. Highly recommend!
