Fantastic bakery, very simple but lots of atmosphere. Love this place, and sometimes they play such good music!

β β β β β A while back, my mom and I went to get some pastry and bread and we stopped by this place. The man who was working there claimed that the pastry was 'fresh'. After we tried some pastry, however, the core was too icy and no where near "fresh". The bread quality was also abysmal. The staff were unapologetic about the freshness. Never coming back to this place ever!

β β β β β Rude staff, other than their taftoon bread every thing i bought has not been fresh, and when you say them they simply say, it is not possible, such a lier irrespectful staff. That is not all, they extra charge if you use credit cards that i researched and also filed a compliant about it, i found it is completely illegal. I much prefer other Taftoon Backery across that crossroad. Ariana Bakery, Here is Canada better follow its rule and respect customers, and advise your rude old labor and that woman to leave thier temper out of business.

β β β β β I drove my mother here to pick up some bread and I saw her go in to wait in the line. Five or six people we're able to come from outside, bypass the line entirely and pick up bread and leave. I paid it no mind.The man handling the bread in the back was constantly on his phone and not sanitizing them before taking the bread out of the oven. This, is not acceptable, ESPECIALLY in the midst of a pandemic. When my mother finally gets to the front of the line after being passed by many other people, some lady comes LITERALLY from behind her and takes the last two pieces of bread. The people who run this business really need to know that just because their customers happen to also be persian, they shouldn't get preferential treatment. And hell, if you want to help out your people that's all fine and well but when there is someone who waited in line for 10 MINUTES just to get a loaf of bread, vs. A persian lady who comes into the store who says "Salaam", please help the woman who waited patiently. This is just rude, disrespectful, and classless service. I myself am Turkish and this review is not to slam any Middle Eastern people, it's just to bring attention to the favoritism shown here.
Don't go here if you aren't Persian, you probably aren't welcome.

β β β β β Unfortunately so profiteer. Their prices are unjustly and unreasonably high especially for the service they provide. They sell a small box of normal pastry for 25$!! You can buy 2 full portion of grilled lamb or chicken with this money!
When I saw the final price I was surprised and asked the staff to reduce the sweet content but they were reluctant and said the box is already packed with adhesive tape and is not possible!!
Their packaging quality is also very low. I saw they write love poems on the pastry boxes without asking the customer if they like it or not.
All in all, I do not recommend this place and will never come back.

β β β β β Hear about this place from another Local Guide. As soon as you walk in you see a really BIG oven... So l decided to try out the cookies WOW they are good full of flavor and moist! I will visit again. This Bakery can get busy but l was in and out with no problem... The woman who severed me is very nice, easy to talk and severs with a smile.. ( even though l'm an "outsider" . the only reason l'm saying this, is do to past experiences)

β β β β β Suuuuper rude Iβm not sure what I did wrong. I think they didnβt like that I was wearing a mask idk? My dad has been shopping here for years and he sent me to pick up bread. Was pretty shocked by the treatment. Definitely would not visit again. ?
