L	Laura Combden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. I went with my family when I was a kid, and in June of this year I returned with my own family. Robert made the booking of all 4 cabins really easy, we had the whole place to ourselves. The beach and the cabins were clean and exactly how I remember them in the 1990s. We got to use the boats, and swim in the lake which is in even better shape then it was when I was a kid. There were mouse traps and ant traps around to keep the cabins from getting any unwanted visitors, and there were no holes in the screens keeping mosquitos from getting into the cabin or porch. All in all, the cabins were clean and it sure beats camping in the rain. Robert was friendly and helpful and I hope everyone that visits has as nice a time as we did.

The kids loved fishing right off the dock as well as going out in the paddle boats and swimming. Great family get away and can't wait for next year to go again.

They do include canoes, kayaks and lifejackets at no extra cost so that's a good thing. We pay full rate the 2nd week of September which I feel should be considered off-season

The cottage was clean roomy comfortably laid out with amenities two single beds in one room and a double bed in the other. Sandy beach for swimming and variety of free boats like sit in and sit on kayaks paddle boat row boat were provided to explore the beauty of the lake. The scenery was surreally tranquil. It changes colour through the day and the sunset concludes the day with crescendo. The lake has many fish even visible at shore that rush to your bait. The host Robert was always available at the office if you have questions. Thank you Ardagh we just came back to town and already miss it!

My sister in law lost her cell-phone and the owner helped us search for it at 9pm at night. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for the great hospitality.
