Cons:
Tldr: employees, while being friendly, try to deceive you by whitholding clear answer.
Details:
- staff tries to talk you out of discount, you know they can provide. Even do this to regulars. They are trying to pity you from 15% you asking to 5%. βOh, yesterday my bossβ¦ my boss told me not to do discountβ¦β
The very same boss made me 15% discount w/o any additional discussions. (I guess bonuses?)
- if this wonβt work, they scan the goods and give you price after tax, which is sus higher, when shouldbe with given discount. But if you know the taxes of course you can calculate asap in head.
- but on the ask to tell price before tax, they try to evade direct answer. βYou save $5β¦ $10β¦β
- finaly they tell you price before tax and of course discount is 5%. And here it goes again βmy boss told meβ¦ one last time cause we are friendsβ etc etc
In the end they refuse to give you a proper discount, which is totally fine. But these almost deception and evasion before that are kinda disgusting. Seen this quite a handful of times with different employes. Some were looking me in the eyes and were saying βyeah, taxes, manβ. Quite an embracing stuff for retail.
And after that they try to call you βfriendβ
Not sure if itβs ArCannabis policy in general, or just this store issues.
But not a single step there again after more than year of regular purchases.

β β β β β AR Cannabis is convenient for people in Richmond who don't want to drive to Vancouver and they have a pretty good selection. At most, it might take a couple hours for them to deliver, but it saves a half hour drive each way and having to find parking. I mainly order vape cartridges and they have a pretty good variety of brands and strains. There are several stores you can order from, each with their own menus, so you should be able to find whatever you're looking for. They're pretty good about customer service and the manager/owner asked me which strains I'd like to see. I prefer the General Admission cartridges with high THC percentages which are usually in stock, but I also like the Tweed Bakerstreet 0.5g cartridge, the Tweed Houndstooth 0.5 g cartridge, the Table Top's 90's OG Kush 0.5 cartridge, and Table Top's Sour Kush 0.5g cartridge.

β β β β β Endi (Sorry if I spelled your name wrong) is hands down the best person I've interacted with at any dispensary and I have been coming back since I met him about a year ago.
Super friendly and informative, goes above and beyond where ever he can to make sure the customer is happy.

EDIT:
Had a negative interaction with a new bud tender, interacted with 5 different dudes over the last year with no issues but this guy was passive aggressive as if I should feel bad for the questions I'd asked. He was irritated from the start so maybe he was just havin' a bad day, I was pretty polite with him from the start in contrast, or at least I tried to be.
Thanks again to Endi who always has great service and care and makes an effort to be friendly to regulars, you're great!
Not sure if I'll be returning after this but despite my own experience everyone else should still check em' out, they have great prices and mostly great staff.

β β β β β A friendly greeting as you walk in the door goes a long way and this place has 'em in spades. Selection and quality met my expectations. The young man at the till went above and beyond to make sure I found what I was looking for that was within my budget. Awesome weed store.

β β β β β Great selection, great prices, great quality. I have started to use their delivery service and I am REALLY impressed. Simple and straight forward. I was able to place an order and they were at my door in 40 minutes!
The location itself isn't anything fancy but it gets the job done. Honestly the worst thing about this spot is the awkward parking lot, but they do delivery so who cares!
