I hired Ararat to clean and do an appraisal of my carpet and I am so happy with the service and results. Jay and his team did an impeccable job of cleaning the carpet, even getting out two wax spills that I was worried wouldn't come out. They also repaired a few moth damaged spots from when the carpet had been in storage. The carpet looks brand new now and I am extremely pleased and would recommend this company for anyone that has an expensive carpet that needs repair or cleaning.

Unfortunately, their unprofessional team has caused permanent colour changes on four spots and huge colour bleeding on the rug's corners during the cleaning process. When I went to pick up my rug, which is not beautiful anymore, I saw the colour changes and bleeding. I asked Jay, who is the store owner, what happened to my rug. He said this is how it was when you brought it to the store. Then he started rudely arguing with me and going off-topic many, many times. He also did not have any respect for his staff in front of me. At the end of the day, he did not take any responsibility. Now I regret my decision to trust the Ararat Rugs and its unprofessional team. They lack transparency and good customer service. I do not recommend doing any business with them. My response to Jay's B.S: You told me if I pay cash, your service would be cheaper. Now you demand to upload a receipt that did not exist in the first place??!! I believe I have been taken advantage of, and I will report your illegal and unethical business to Consumer Protection BC.

My wife and I searched almost every rug store in town, and when we learned about Ararat Oriental Rug through a friend of ours, we visited their store several times. He even let us to try some of his rugs at our home as we were not sure what would matches our new furniture's and home design. We are super happy and pleased with his services and our purchase. We ended up buying two rugs at the lowest prices possible in town. I highly recommend Jay and his team for your rug purchases or any other services you may need. He is someone who you can constantly rely on. Thanks a lot Jay for your amazing service!
