It has been a great pleasure working with Luke and other members at Aragon for the past few years, and we are very impressed with the forward-thinking and innovative mindsets from both the team and the company. Throughout the project lifecycle from the design to the construction, it is evident that Aragon has put the living experience and sustainable development as their top priorities. We are looking forward to seeing more exciting projects and impacts on the industry from Aragon.

We bought and lived in an Aragon townhome for 5 years now, and wanted to write a review for potential buyers. We had issues from the start and over time. Our dryer didn’t work and flagged during inspection, took 3 months to repair, and then broke again a few months after. The drywall was crumpling in the bathroom and turns out that a giant hole in the drywall was β€œpatched” with tape and painted over. Carpets started unravelling within the first 6 months of moving in. Ceiling edges started loosening from lack of nails, which they patched but then refused to paint the ceiling! Big cracks in the garage floors. Customer service was extremely slow to address any issues and tries to tell you it’s not their responsibility to fix. Most memorable was dealing with one of their sales rep Kathleen. Maybe it was because we were young or Asian or perhaps because we brought in our parents for multiple showings but she was extremely condescending. Turns out a couple of our neighbours dealt with her and found her very unpleasant as well. I would absolutely not buy another Aragon development again and would not recommend others to do so either given the value and build quality.

We’ve been working with Aragon for almost a decade and have had an opportunity to get to know this team from ownership through to design, management, and construction. In all aspects of their business, it is clear to me that Aragon strives to offer true design value, support residents and owners in the communities they build, and lead the industry toward sustainable practices. To do this requires vision and a corporate culture that nurtures growth. It doesn’t mean that Aragon is perfect, but these are good people doing the best work they can, and from where I stand, that is something really rare. If I was buying a new home and evaluating who to buy from, Aragon would be at the top of my list.

I am proud to say that my company has worked with Aragon for several decades and that I am personally an Aragon home owner. It is no surprise that it is the great people who work at Aragon that makes this organization what it is. From their sales staff to their construction crews, everyone is amazing to work with. Each of the customer touch points is managed meticulously and makes the purchaser experience fantastic. As a supplier to Aragon you get to see the quality and workmanship that goes in to each project. It as an honour for me to be a part of every Aragon project and have them also represent my work as one of the premier developers in Vancouver.

Future pre-sale buyers beware! Absolutely terrible development company to purchase from. We’re one of the unfortunate homeowners of their Port Moody development β€œPlatform”. We signed our contract summer 2017 and at the time had an estimated completion date of summer 2019. After numerous delays and excuses from Aragon, it is winter 2021 and we still have not moved in yet. Actually we don’t even have a completion date yet! Some of the positive reviews below are from their own employees or partners (you can find their names on LinkedIn). It’s incredibly frustrating to see other developments in Port Moody start construction after your project and complete well before. You can find a similar theme with the other reviews below. Our friends and family will definitely NOT be purchasing from Aragon in the future. UPDATE: We have been living in the building for about five months now and there have been numerous issues and deficiencies that have not been addressed. The project was completed with a 2.5 year delay and was still not done properly. Our strata council is scrambling to fix the messes that Aragon made. They’re receiving no help from the property manager (Macdonald Property Management) that was hired by Aragon. The project is a complete disaster and Aragon should not be trusted for any future projects. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE.

BUYERS BE WARE. We have had the absolute WORST experience with Aragon and their staff over the last 5 years. We purchased a pre-sale townhome in Port Moody in 2017- it completed over 4 years later (2 whole years past the outside closing date). Since we moved in 6 months ago, there have been hundreds of deficiencies not addressed. Safety concerns for my family with young children include chipped glass panels on stairway railings, incomplete fencing that my toddlers can squeeze through on our patio, windows that don't have safety stops.. the list goes on. We spent almost 1 million dollars on this brand new home and it has brought nothing but headaches. Additionally, Aragon has SO MANY incomplete parts to the development, especially security related. We have had over 5 break-ins in the last 3 months here and people are losing items in the storage and bike rooms. This is someone who knows the building and likely has fob access. DO NOT buy from Aragon- you will be dealing with unresolved issues for years and no one will care to help you.

We bought into an Aragon building (Platform) and have had a very poor experience. The building was over 2 years late with very little communication from the company. It would be sometimes weeks/months without having responses from our emails. Once in the building, the common areas were poorly finished and very poor security. We’ve had numerous break ins as they have yet to program our elevators (we’ve been in the building for almost 5 months). The locks they put on the storage locker rooms and bike rooms are not adequate, as well as our mailroom (all have been broken into). I would never recommend Aragon. I would actively discourage people from buying as it’s been such a horrendous experience.

Working with Aragon has been an absolute pleasure! The team have been excellent collaborative partners over the last few years. They prioritize their buyers experience above everything and it shows! Excited to continue working with them in the years to come!
