★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time I have hired Appliance Repair Services in the last couple of years. This time, just like the first time, the technician was totally professional. He came and did the washer repair the same day. Appliance Repair Services is always helpful in giving me sound, honest advice to any repairs or maintenance questions I have, giving useful tips on how to maintain and prolong the life of our 10years old appliances. We are very happy with the service.
The pricing is excellent and is straight forward. Its great to have someone whom we can trust.
Communication is good and service is exceptional! Highly recommended! Thank you!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The repairman was good and he fixed the issue. The company however falsely advertise that they are located in Okotoks "Appliance Repair Services in Okotoks", and they advertise "same day" service - it took two-days. Lastly, their prices are outrageous. It cost $420.00 to replace the igniter (they tell me this part cost $97.00), a part I can find for as little as $24.00 online. The repair took just under an hour. That's over $300.00 per hour. Does that sound reasonable to anyone?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Saturday of the long weekend our 3 year old LG fridge quit. I called this company and the earliest they could come was the following Tuesday. I didn’t know this until later but for most repair companies a fridge is a priority and they would have someone out ASAP. A repairman came at the appointed time and checked the fridge and said the compressor was no longer working. He asked if I had extended warranty and I said the fridge came with the house so I didn’t have a chance to purchase extended warranty. He said an LG compressor would cost at least $1500 and then there was installation; I would be better off buying a new fridge. Over the next few days I looked at fridges but was unable to get the fridge I wanted and so just for the heck of it I called LG customer service. I spoke with a nice lady and she said for under $300 they would send a repair person, install a new compressor and guarantee the compressor for 10 years. The fridge was up and running the same day as I called. The LG repairman said an LG compressor is between $200 and $300 and he also said a fridge failure takes priority to get repaired. I have no idea why the first “repairman” would mislead me like that. I saved a whole bunch of $$ not buying a new fridge.

My dryer would not heat up anymore. As a “handy” person (that I think I am), I did some investigating. The cost and the time required, it was easier for me to call a technician, rather than give up my Saturday sourcing the part and complete the repair myself. I booked online and is was very simple. I even warned them about my attention seeking Golden Retriever.
Nic showed up on time and was professional. Even gave my dog a warm hello. He too diagnosed the problem (in a fraction of the time it took me). However, I was initially shocked at the price. It was 50% more than expected. I considered finishing the job myself… Rolled my eyes and with $40 dollars off for booking online, I agreed to the price.
Sure glad that I did that!!!! Nic took the time to inspect the entire machine, and even showed me where it was broken and how to prevent it in the future. A little cleaning here, some extra lubricant there (steps I wouldn’t have taken) and the job was done quickly. His experience, professionalism, and time was well worth the few extra dollars. I am almost looking forward to doing laundry again. Don’t tell my wife. ?

They performed a great service with great speed, I'd definitely recommend them to other homeowners that aren't too sure about who to trust for fixing their appliances around the house!
