About Apex Plumbing & Heating
After seeing a growing lack of experience and pride in workmanship in the commercial plumbing and heating industry, Jon Selinger opened the doors of APEX Plumbing & Heating in Regina with one thing and one thing only in mind — THE CUSTOMER. Being raised as a third-generation tradesman, he saw early on that the only way to conduct business in the plumbing and heating industry was to offer exceptionally high-quality workmanship, coupled with respect for customers. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Several years ago we hired Apex to install an iron filter and water softener at my summer cabin that we use only 2 months out of the year. Could not figure out why we had to take the iron filter in for servicing regularly because it was not working. Every time we took it in, the media bed in the filter was pretty much gone. Last weekend we figured out that Apex hooked it up backwards so that we were constantly backwashing the filter! It wasn't actually a big deal, we were just happy that we finally figured out what the problem was. When we called them to ask them to come out and reverse their connection to the proper water flow direction they blew us off, claiming "we don't know who has been in there since we installed it." Brutal, brutal brutal service. We were stunned at their response. Will NEVER use or recommend these guys ever again.

Apex came out and found the faulty installation of our toilet/drain seal by a past contractor in no time at all and fixed it. We are so greatful for their thorough technical approach to our dilemma as well as their promptness and professional delivery of their service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scheduled for 1pm, but called me up and (with permission) showed up 3 hours early and fixed and cleaned the heater before noon. Technician responded to all of my questions (my first time with a natural gas furnace) and walked me through how to use the new thermostat. Much appreciated and will be going back to them for my future furnace needs.
Also worth mentioning that I appreciate their sponsorship of local disc sports. Good people, good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had no heat one morning, called Apex and they sent Ben over. He was on time, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable! In no time at all he diagnosed the problem to be from the original installation, and that the original installers didn't clean the PVC shavings off their cut ends of vent piping, and the condensate drains were plugged full of these shavings. He also did a complete service on our furnace, and told us what to look for around our home with other Plumbing and HVAC items. We've had other plumbers do work for us in the past, and I will never use anyone else, ever again! Apex actually knows what they are doing! If you want professional service, with problems solved right the first time, call Apex! I can't say enough positive things about these guys... and it doesn't hurt that Ben is easy on the eyes, and smells nice!
