Angelo's Garden Centre

I have to say this is a really good garden they have everything you need and they stand by their warranty hassle free. They appreciate your business and treat you very well. I highly recommend this garden Center.

They have a good selection of perennial and annuals and trees and shrubs. What I do NOT like about Angelo's Garden is that they Do NOT warrant any of their Perennials which is poor business practice. Sheridan Nurseries gives you a year and the large box stores like Home Depot and Lowes give you a year warranty.

Angelo's doesn't look like much from Highway 7; in fact, it looks a bit run down, but don't let that fool you, this is a proper garden centre. The pros: By urban standards, this place is HUGE. Whereas most mainstream garden centres (Eg. Sheridan Nurseries, Home Depot, or other major retailers) are measured in square feet, this one is over 5 ACRES. This allows them to offer a complete selection of trees, shrubs, plants, garden flowers, and herbs (even rare options like 10' fig trees). The quantities of any given plant they have in stock far exceed what you would find at other garden centres. They also carry soils, gravel, garden statues, and other gardening supplies. This comprehensive assortment means that they are a top choice for professional landscapers, and also have a selection of vehicles, ranging from pickup trucks to full-size dump trucks, for deliveries to your site. Finally, I found their staff to be far more knowledgeable than the ones you would find at typical big box retailers. The cons: On the downside, as stated before, their presentation is not as polished as mainstream retailers such as Home Depot or Sheridan Nurseries. Furthermore, their prices are noticeably higher than mainstream retailers, so if you're looking for popular items (eg boxwoods or cedars), your local big box garden centre will have better prices and be more conveniently located (though contractors likely get a trade discount here). Finally, they work "contractor hours" (7am-4pm weekdays and Saturday), so evening and Sunday shopping is not an option. Overall: Angelo's is an excellent option for major landscaping and gardening projects. With better selection, service, and in-stock quantities than you'll find at your local big box stores. However, their prices are higher and their operating hours more limited.

Angelo's has a wide selection of shrubs and trees at reasonable prices not found elsewhere. Recently bought a white flowering dogwood that is disease resistant and a vigorous grower to replace a crab apple that died after 60 years. Always happy with everything that we have bought there!

Excellent place for all your garden needs. And the price is very competitive and fair especially when it comes with excellent friendly service (that I appreciate the most). I've been coming here for over 15 years now for everything from landscaping or just plain 'ol maintenance. The selections of trees and plants are amazing. Absolutely worth the drive.

This place has a good selection of plants, trees, perennials, etc. However it was very disappointing that one rose we bought on Mother's day from here died within 2 weeks. It was still in the pot and was well taken care of while we were waiting for the weather to get warmer before planting it outside - other roses we bought from other nurseries at the same time were perfectly fine. When we came back to return, the man at the inside store was extremely rude. Before even asking us, he gave us a huge attitude and said that they do not guarantee perennials. I told him I would totally understand if this was something happened after few months, but this was only 2 weeks. That would be a very minimal time for store return /exchange policy. We bought at a regular price - it wasn't "final sale - no return, no exchange". He finally agreed to give us store credit with a very angry face :(. I wonder if he is the owner?? To be fair, I find that other staff were helpful, friendly and nice. To bad, although this was our first time buying something from here, it would very be our last time.

This garden center has beautiful plants, ?flowers ?, pots and more. The service is excellent. This Flowering Almond Cherry Tree looks beautiful in my garden. ?????
