Sunflower Daycare is staffed with care workers who give my wife and I the confidence to trust our precious children's development and safety.
We have had one child graduate from Sunflower, with another currently in the toddler room.
Both have had very positive experiences to complement their daily growth and development.
The in house cook is a whiz and I wish they would hire out for catering. ;D
The staff who take care of the kids are smart, creative, and have proven to be pivotal adults in the development of our children. Before Sunflower our kids were developing just fine. After settling in and going through a year, they are talking more, expressing coherent ideas, reading, playing and exploring at a rate, IMHO, that has only increased due to the program at Sunflower.
Having recently merged with Andrew Fleck gives Sunflower access to more resources, physical and online.
Being housed in the CMHC building, a Crown corporation, just adds an extra layer of security since there are guards and protocols in place for any potential emergency not covered by daycare staff (e.g. worst case scenarios that I've no wish to contemplate here).
We trust them, we are committed to them, and we help them as best as we can.
They are a great provider, a great community, and I whole heartedly recommend them. If you can get in your child(ren) will be confident and safe.
