I also buy lotion for my face, which is great and saving my life! After that one I can not use anything. It is moisturizing and healing your skin from the first use. It calls Raindance Daily lotion ,and it smells roses. I love it!!! Thank You, Tracy!!!

I greatly appreciate the observance of Covid risk reduction measures and feel safe and relaxed when shopping here. I am so pleased to have this excellent business in my community.
M	Mango Mission on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've shopped at Anarres for over 5+ years but my last visit was less than satisfactory. We waited outside until we got the 'green' light, fine. But as we walked in we were not only rushed but were told we only had 10 min to do all of our shopping. On top of this there was hardly anyone who approached to help us. Maybe if someone helped us we could have been out of there in time. As we're told to basically 'hurry up' whoever was at the cashier was busy having small talk with another customer. My spouse was told her face shield was not adequate and she had to wear a mask instead. I felt so rush I didn't end up purchasing everything I needed. The entire experience was less than pleasant. My spouse won't be returning to this store and frankly neither will I anymore. Customer service really needs to improve here. Otherwise they carry good products.

I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and I love and recommend this store to everyone who wants to get natural supplies to make things like clean personal care products. The owner and the employees have real knowledge of natural products and can help you pick the right items. This store is a DIY heaven. You can be sure of the quality and many products are ethical, fair-trade or organic. Altogether a lovely experience shopping at Anarres. Environmentally sustainable choices, you can bring your own containers for bulk items.
S	Sarah P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anarres consistently comes through with a broad range of reasonably priced herbs, supplies for homemade cosmetics, and bulk fragrance-free soap and detergents. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, if sometimes a little grumpy. I'd say this shop isn't for everyone, but with a little patience and an open mind doing business here can be a curious and satisfying experience. I'm really glad it continues to exist! Edit to note: a strange feature here is the co-presence of two distinct stores in one room. Anarres is on the left and at the back, while The Hermit's Lamp is the section at the front / on the right. I wonder if some confusion could be mitigated by more of a visual separation.. could Hermit's Lamp paint the floor or something? I don't know! Personally I find the setup charming, but others might not

I used to order online, but was pleasantly surprised one day to find this place so close to where I live! I have yet to find myself in a situation where they don’t have a particular item I need, tons of variety, and a focus on ethical sourcing. Everything I’ve purchased has been high quality, but priced very reasonably. The ladies that work there are also really friendly, and knowledgeable. I buy my essential oils, raw butters, clays, soy candle wax and soap ingredients here. If you are a DIY’er you will love this place too! ❤️
