★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atmosphere is what they sell! I had top notch service. The two servers and the bartender cycled like a pick in a NHL powerplay and ensured my was always had service.
They have about 7 beers on tap, a good selection of bottled and canned beverages for drinks.They serve pub grub , I had the yam fries and I have nothing but good things to say about it. all the locals were.
The interior is a collage of local posters and artwork. You will also find the the brick wall has been signed by about everyone who could find space (I assume it is bring your own marker).
If you want cold drinks and pub food this will hit the spot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for a late night drink and snack. Poutine was really good, the hot beverages were okay - just not very hot. The service is what I was most disappointed with - no one came to check on us and we waited really long to put in orders and get the bill. Our waitress also charged us for a double-shot drink rather than a single that we clearly ordered, and refused to fix our bill. I won’t be coming back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you enjoy waiting for long periods before receiving bad service and terrible food and drinks then this is the perfect place for you. Your order will likely come out wrong the first time and after arguing with a nearly useless waitress you will get the right thing eventually. But don't feel special, most tables around you will get the same treatment. It happens when busy but also during quiet times. Gave them two chances this visit but not going back anymore and recommend anyone looking for a meal and a bit of service to look elsewhere. It used to be a great venue. Very sad to see this place being run to the ground by their new staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t waste your money. The location is good but so are the restaurants close by. I am not normally someone who complains but being in the service industry for over 20 years, I just can’t let it slide. My husband and I ordered two drinks, nachos and a chicken sandwich. My drink was fine, a blueberry tea. My husbands was not so great. Barely any alcohol. Our nachos came out warm on the bottom but cold on top. Even the meat was cold. We talked politely with the server to explain and she offered to have them remade which we said “sure”. After she walked away she decided to come back and tell me… “ya, I felt the nachos and they were warm so not sure what that is about, BUT we will go ahead and remake them. When did costumer service become so shocking. We have been sitting at the table for 40 mins and haven’t even been offered another drink or asked about the other meal. Just made to feel like I was wrong about my cold nachos with serious attitude. Customer service here is not worth a dime. Go somewhere else

Perfect location to people watch on the Village Square. Hope to return for their brunch menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed this place. Called in for a schnitzel on a busy afternoon, and was not disappointed with the food, beer or the service.
Nice and laid back vibe, great to watch the village go by from the terrace.
Not fancy, but the basics are spot on. Friendly serving team, food was very good, as was the beer.
Definitely worth calling in.

Great for a beer after a day of mountain biking or just after a stroll through the city
