★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this local shop! It is a small shop that specializes in Mexican groceries, and has a fantastic selection of spices for any type of cuisine. Fennel, fenugreek, annatto, cumin, cardamom pods, star anise, cloves, coriander, all spice, saffron, turmeric, garlic powder, lychee tea, lemongrass, basil, white pepper, just to name a few. It has everything you need for seasoning!
I frequently buy the large bag of Don Panchos tortilla chips (sooo good, beats all the other tortilla chips) and flour tortillas. They also have seasonal specials on fresh produce. I buy bags of onions, tomatoes, avocados, cilantro, jalapeño, mangoes, asparagus, potatoes, carrots, red onions, all fresh and good quality.
The owners are very kind. I phone in my orders and they pack it up for me so that I just need to pick up and pay at the front of the store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need anything Latino this is the place. Beautiful selection of cheeses. This little shop is run by two of the nicest people you will ever meet. One of the biggest surprises will be talking fluent Spanish will two Asian people. They lived many years in Venezuela before moving to Canada. I have found so many ingredients here for Spanish, Mexican dishes. A long list of Peruvian items are available. Every spice you can think of. Mexican chocolate. At the time of writing this. Pan de Muertos is on the shelf. You will be more than pleased with the prices. It won't cost you the earth to find a little bite of home. I'm in this store 2 or 3 times a week. It was the only place I could find candied ginger in the Vancouver area. I was able to find fish bullion for a traditional Swedish dish. My sister used to send it all the way from home back in Sweden. I saw something totally new ( to me) Azule corn flour for making tortillas. I would be remiss if I did not mention the Beautiful fresh produce. I needed tomatilos last week. Yup!, found them here. Seek out this amazing tejena.
