My grandmother has to take showers at 5am or wait until late in the evening, if she is sick she is not allowed to leave her room and then they forgot to bring her food. Horrid place...

During COVID-19 they had no breakout they take proper health & safety measures. They have made accommodations for visitors while keeping social distancing policies. This is a picture of the gazebo they modified to assist in this regard.

There is a culture of friendliness and care that extends from the management to the staff that has made this transition so much easier than we expected. After some expected hesitation about leaving her residence, our mother is now telling her friends about how pleased she is with her new “home”.
C	Carol D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so very thankful for how quickly the Amica Swan Lake staff responded to our urgent request for help for my mother. Although she was on the waiting list for a permanent room, after two falls within one week, it was far too unsafe for her to live on her own any longer. They were able to take her in as a short stay resident to help her recover from her falls, with the hope that her permanent room will be available soon. It is such a wonderful peace of mind to know that she has the care she needs 24 x 7. At almost 91, this was a very difficult move for her, but the Amica staff were so welcoming, which made her transition much easier. This is only her second week there, but she is settling in very well. She loves the food, and she is very comfortable in her room. She keeps telling me that the people are so good to her. The location of Amica Swan Lake is absolutely beautiful!!
