★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inspector called two building code infractions. I wanted to get a second opinion so I called not one but two professional trade contractors who said the electrical and plumbing was up to code. I can tell you this , I will not be hiring a incompetent house inspector again .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and punctual. But for $525, I’d expect the inspector to actually do a good job. Since moving in, there have been 4 issues that the inspector should have EASILY seen but didn’t mention at all. The hot and cold water taps were reversed on THREE showers in the house (he said they were all good), and the back of a faucet was pouring water (he clearly must not have checked it). This house he inspected was a new build, already fully built and never been occupied, so it wouldn’t have happened after the inspection. I’d recommend going to a better inspection company.

Darcy was on-time, professional, extremely knowledgeable, clearly communicated, and provided us the completed report in a timely manner. He alerted us to multiple issues we would have never caught on our own and he recommended follow up in relevant areas.

He did a thorough inspection and did a wonderful job explaining everything in plain language. As an added bonus, AmeriSpec gives you a lifetime subscription to the online app, HomeBinder. This app has been helpful in keeping the details of our new house organized and safe. It also allows us to track updates and changes that are made to the home. Overall, AmeriSpec does a fantastic job in handling their home inspections, delivering professional service, and helps the customer to fully understand all the ins and outs of their new house.
