This is by far the worst experience my fiancΓ© and I have ever endured. I have never been caused so much mental and physical stress by a company before. This will be a long review as I want people to be aware of what exactly we went through and please spend the little bit more money and go to a company that will treat you with great service that you expected and paid for. We did not get either of those. We contacted Good Ol Boys moving originally for our long distance move from Ontario to Alberta. The paperwork and deposit and customer service was all done by Good Ol Boys before the pickup date. When the day came, AMS Transportation showed up and began loading our items. We were not aware the Good Ol Boys subcontracted us out to a 1 star company (that deserves -0). They came 2 weeks prior to the arrival date to ensure our items will be there on time. They had our stuff for over a month. They picked up our items on April 18th, expected our stuff on May 1st or 2nd but didn't receive our items until May 25th. We never received any phone calls to update us, rather we had to constantly call to chase for updates and what's going on. We even requested a photo of our motorcycles loaded in the trailer so we can have some reassurance they are properly tied down. For over a month we never received a single photo despite constant reminders and was told its no problem. The dispatcher would inform us every week it'll be shipped out but would lie and say an issue arised such as "VIP clients took our spot". We asked to speak to someone above her but the dispatcher said there was no one above her and the owner "doesn't speak to clients". Everytime there was a delay or our items weren't shipped the day she told us, she never bothered to call or let us know. We'd call a few days later wondering what the ETA is and then she'd let us know our stuff is still in Ontario. We had no choice but to bypass her,Β  found & contact the Operational Manager. The manager apologized and admitted her dispatcher lied to us. We hope the dispatcher gets reprimanded for the horrible quality of service she provided. We had to pay for additional hotel costs, sleep on the ground, pay for food, towels, blankets etc. And lived with no bed, no entertainment, paper plates and endured poor quality of life because of AMS. I am a business owner and lost a month of profit because my work supplies were in the truck and were too big to bring with me. I also lost clientele because I had clients scheduled a few weeks after the intended arrival date and ended up having to cancel them, causing me to have a bad reputation before I even began. I may lose my business because I trusted AMS to deliver our items. We have yet to be compensated for anything and are still expected to pay full price even though they are over 3 weeks delayed. The excuses were odd too, as my fiancΓ© is a AZ driver and understands how dispatch and trucking works and most things they said didn't make sense. At the end of it, they don't care. They don't care about the amount of money we lost. They don't care if they damaged our items. They don't care how much stress they've caused. We had a friend already deposited with them and we warned him of our negative experience and he ended up going to another company. I know 3 other families coming to Alberta from Ontario that were asking me for recommendations on moving companies. I told them our experience and they informed their own friends and family. AMS/Good Old Boys lost approx. 28k that I could of referred them to. I hope this review will be seen by others and that it will prevent you from hiring this company and avoid the amount of stress they caused for us. We have contacted police, lawyer and BBB (this is not the first time they been reported).

adding to my horrible review back in July 2021. This company subs out work of the moving to AMS Transport who are crooks. They caused thousands of dollars of damage to our furniture, $1300 of damage to our landlords house while moving our items out, we have been trying to get our claim resolved since August, reported them to BBB who couldnt do anything and just now received our notice that are denying our claim for damages for bs reasons. Read reviews of both these companies and you will see they have done this to too many people. We have contacted our lawyer for help. The manager Katrina at Ameri-cana assured us we would no issue getting our money back for the damages AMS caused and this is where we are 4 months later. Disgusting, these people shouldn't be allowed to provide services at all.
