Amazing Nails

My friend and I dropped in to get our nails done and we were very pleased with our experience. It took longer than the average salon but it was well worth it considering how amazing they turned out. Mina did my nails and if I’m ever in town again, I will be making sure to request her. My friend had a poorer experience with her nail tech but the staff went above and beyond to fix the mistakes and she left very happy.

I have never had my nails take so long and look so bad and cost soooo much! Awful experience. Also their plastic barrier are broken and they gave me a bad look when it fell and knocked my drink over. When I went to pay and I only gave a $5 tip, which wasn’t deserved they said only $5 each cause there are 4 of us.. guess a $20 tip for under a $200 transaction wasn’t enough for there really crapy job. NEVER GO THERE!! Thought the insta looked great, but it really isn’t. Bio gel shouldn’t look so thick.

I did my nails at Amazing Nails for my birthday and got a lot of compliments from my friends. Just wanted to say that they did a great job and the way they worked was professional and friendliness. Recommended.

Booked a bio gel refill with Brian for 12pm on May 13th. We began my appointment at 1pm, over an hour late. He was rough, he was rushing and his overall technique was lacking. I requested almond but, it was pushing stiletto shaped. Online a bio gel refill is $55 which was the price I expected to pay. Mid-way through the appointment I was told there was going to be an extra $5 charge for the length, mind you, I shaved them down to as low as they could go. On top of it all, I received nothing for waiting over an hour for my appointment to even begin. Considering this was my first appointment at amazing nails, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I will not be returning and would never recommend this place to anyone.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Amazing Nails and specifically Louis! As someone who is extremely particular when it comes to their nails I can say after years of coming here it has truly become a staple for me. I've hopped to and from the best of toronto's nail salons and find myself always being able to come back to this location knowing I can find a quality nail tech. After trying for the first and last time biogel sets (the past 2 moths) I have found their not for me. I'm extremely hard on my hands and decided to return to acrylics cuz their much stronger for longer nail lengths. Being back in the eastyork-downtown area I decided to revisit my old faithful where I went years before while living in Kensington, and to no surprise they didn't disappoint! Kim even remembered my face after all this time which was a pleasant surprise ☺️ I had a girl at work mention she had her nails done by Louis and they looked on point! Louis who i think is a fairly new addition to the team was great! He is friendly, meticulous and a perfectionist. While removing my old bio gel set which was by no means easy, it took half an hour to remove, my one index finger had cracked all the way down to my real nail and was slightly hurting. He was extremely careful and gentle during the removal process he didn't rush it and wasn't overly harsh with the rotary tool which I was really impressed with. He took his time to sculpt and checked in along the way, overall I'm extremely happy! My nails look fire and can not say enough good things about Louis and Kim's team at Amazing nails! Beautiful new clean salon, awesome nail techs, and fair pricing! Thanks sooo much guys, will now and probably forever be a returning customer:)

I have been going to amazing nails for almost 5 years now and although my consistency in this place has been a while, there are a few things I feel they could improve on. I go to Brian and he does my nails super nicely but often times he refuses or laughs at the little things I ask him to fix. Whether that be thinning out a line on a french tip or cleaning up a polish application, he seems to laugh. They also switch up the pricing as sometimes my refills are more expensive than my full new sets. I notice the employers are only interactive and communicative with those getting a non basic set or those who are not asian. Overall, i would recommend this place but their customer service is poor and could use change.

I’ve been doing here for years and I’ve tried a few other salons in the area Love everyone there, so friendly and they take their time I’ve heard maybe twice while there, girls that drop in and except extensions with designs and complain about how long it takes to finish but they’re not slow, they are professional and don’t rush so you have good results. I always carve out extra time in planning to get my nails done Love Kim and Bryan Kim doesn’t incredible design!

Such an amazing job done! This salon is right near my house and for some reason I’ve never been here before. I had Jon do my nails, he was so precise and on point. He took his time with the shaping and filing, and it turned out wonderfully. The price is very reasonable as well, especially on Sundays. Thanks so much! I’ll be back for my next refill.
