Awful service by Red Deer Fleet AMA Roadside. My car needed a boost but instead I was told to buy a new battery. The AMA serviceman never even tried to boost my car battery. I called Ford Roadside assistance and their team was at my place under 15 minutes, they boosted my car in seconds. AMA, you can do better than that.

It took 3:30 minutes of pushing buttons to get through all the AMA ads and to what I thought was the correct department. Then, I was on hold for a further 5 minutes later I put in my number for a call back. Too bad a real person couldn’t answer the telephone at my local branch and simply take a message. That would be way better service.

My first time at AMA Red Deer! So I’ve been a member with AMA for just under a year, (newbie here in Alberta ?), and I’ve used their service once, to boost my car’s battery ( and eventually had it replaced with a CAA-certified one. And I’ve always been happy with their service, their call centre agents are nice, very professional and courteous. The road assistance guys are awesome too, gave me tips on my car’s battery (shout-out to Rob!!!) And so, December twenty nine , I received an email from them about various discounts on their travel centre office in Red Deer City. And from Samsonite luggages to fanny packs and colored masks, I saw that they’re offeing a discounted battery charger! Exactly just what I need when the super cold Alberta winter settles in this 2021. I went to their outlet to get one. When I got there, first thing I noticed are the numerous Covid19 precautionary signs and notices places all over their centre’s facade. I liked it! It means they are really concerned about the safety and well-being of theorvstaff and clients. When I got in, I was greeted warmly by a kind and smiling lady, who guided me where to proceed. I noticed as well that a lot of areas are cordoned so passengers will be limited to just a certain area to do their transactions. And I waited in line, which wasn’t very long. The counters were amply staffed. I proceeded to the next open counter and was greeted by Ms. Cathy, a kindly and lovable lady who finished my transactions in very nice manner, sanitizing first the desk, mask worn and greeted/wished me a good day. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service provided here, and will be constantly renewing my membership with AMA. Great job you’re doing guys!

AMA costs a bit but on a dark and stormy night it's nice to know help is on its way. My daughter went in for her driver's and we were greeted at the door by a pleasant young lady who guided daughter to the right place and found me a cuppa while dad waited nervous. Great service, nice store.

Wow. I was headed to Calgary from Edmonton when my windshield wipers suddenly stopped working during a snowstorm on the middle of Highway 2. I was by myself and waiting it out wasn’t an option, as it was 1am on Sunday night and it was forecasted to snow/rain for the next two days. Not only did AMA show up, they towed me and my car all the way to Calgary (about 120kms from where I was when I called) in the middle of the night. I am beyond grateful for the service I received, and will be renewing my membership based off this experience alone. So great to know that AMA has your back even in the most unlikely of scenarios.

We got a flat tire while driving from Calgary to Edmonton. We called AMA emergency service and help was there in less than an hour. He was very helpful. He even tried to convince Canadian Tire to repair the tire as we need to drive for additional 1.5 hours. Unfortunately Canadian Tire staff were very busy and were not able to help. We made it home safely. Shout out to the AMA guy who helped us out on a Sunday afternoon in front of Canadian Tire - 50 St. Thank you very much :)

Very helpful. Imee was very fast, polite and went beyond what she needed to do. Called my insurance company, verified insurance, signed me up for auto renewal, and had no problems at all. And sorted through our 5 vehicles documents , cleaning everything up!! Happy to go back!

I have been a member since 1986. For the second time on a row, I have had a difficult time renewing a registration. The clerk was rude and insistent I drove last year in an unregistered vehicle. I kept telling her that was incorrect and when her coworker verified that I was right, the AMA clerk then doubled down with lecturing me on how much trouble I was in a hypothetical situation that never happened! Then, this person did not want to process my request because she didn’t feel like looking up last years information off a license plate. She said she can do it, but prefers the old document in front of her. Lazy or defiant? Unknown. I asked for my documents back so I can take them to the competition at Alberta One Stop and get it done without grief. Suddenly, she became motivated. Avoid AMA Red Deer in the south! (Note: signs everywhere promoting β€˜kindness’ in their store… obviously, just virtue signaling)
