★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I wanted to build a 500sq’ deck this spring. I was unsure about what the best option for foundation was, because the ground is so poor in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. (clay and silt).
Ashley helped me through the process of determining what the deck would be used for and what size of piles would be best suited for the job. We plan on having a roof over part of the deck and a 6000lbs hot tub in one corner.
Screw piles are definitely the way to go, especially with the type of soil we have in River Heights.
Ashley and his crew showed up early and got the foundation installed in under a days work (12 piles). A building is only as good as its foundation and I’m confident that with the foundation we chose, this deck will serve us for many years to come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd give 10 stars if that was an option! We are working on a very special geodesic dome project where vision, skill, patience, precision and trouble-shooting are all essential.
From our first contact, Ashley was eager to take this complicated project on. The two days that he and Blake spent on site were a pleasure... I was actually able to step away at times, having full confidence that our 22 helical piles would be placed in a perfect circle with precise distancing between them (within millimeters!).
Not only did Ashley provide us with a precise and solid base for our dome, he also came up with perfect solutions to challenging complications and sourced other skilled trades, taking work off my hands. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to the remarkable AM Screw Pile team. These are easy-going, fun, kind, wise and generous people with huge hearts!
