★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love love love these girls!! Super clean and welcoming environment, and they assure you it is a judgement free zone - which for people with anxiety is a nice reminder.
I personally see Jill and I am always confident that I will leave happy because she is honest in telling me what will or will not work with my face shape and hair.
I highly recommend ALTR to anyone looking for a place to get their hair cut, coloured, styled, cared for etc. I cannot say enough positive things about ALTR, Jill and Kristyn!!♥️

She is so creative, detail-oriented and kind in every way, and she always takes the time to explain what, how and why she's doing something to my hair so I understand every step of the way. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a great hairdresser!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jillian is my hair stylist and has been for over 2 years. Jill is fantastic and is real with her clients, she wont promise you something that isn't achievable in one sitting. I love her talent and always makes me feel 100x better after leaving the salon! The salon is clean, quiet and green (lots of beautiful/healthy plants - also always has an amazing playlist on). Jill is not only an incredible stylist, Jill is also is amazing to talk to about your personal life, extremely friendly and relatable, you wont regret <3

Jillian consistently checked in with me to make sure I was comfy & happy every step of the way, & the space was so welcoming, that the process was a breeze! As someone who is new to getting my hair coloured, I could not have felt more comfortable or have been in better hands, than with the lovely ALTR team and Jillian! Couldn’t say enough positive things!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely LOVE ALTR Hair Studio! I see Jillian for my hair, and every time I describe what I'm thinking of and tell her to work her magic and my hair comes out better than I imagined! The way they have changed their pricing makes so much more sense and it keeps it very transparent to the customer. At my last visit I had a balayage done, and every time Jillian had to make more product she let me know how much I would be charged for.

Highly recommend if you want trendy and/or timeless haircuts and styles. She is super knowledgable, warm and passionate. She always understands my hair goals and knows how to make it happen. I appreciate the gender neutral pricing, too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recommend this salon to everyone! They are so welcoming and genuinely nice people. The atmosphere in the salon is so great, I love all of the plants and bright colours it really boosts my mood after a long day.
Kristyn is always so great and non judgmental, it feels like a safe space! If you are looking for a big hair transformation or just a regular trim this is definitely the place to go.
