About Rebel Salad

Sara Boyer has been working in the food industry for over a decade. She holds a diploma as a certified holistic health practitioner and certificates from various health and healing centers around North America. A trip to the Creative health institute in 2006 sprouted an interest in using food as medicine, and she has been pursuing bringing that passion to her community through the food served at The Growing Season and Rebel Salad ever since. Decent amounts of each ingredient were added, they asked if the salad dressing should be on the side or not. If I lived in Thunder Bay, I'd be a regular. Only wishes: would like the webpage to be include their phone number, and the online ordering system should offer the kale as an option for your base. We struggled to figure out how to phone in the order to ask for kale.

A little on the pricey side, two salads is $35 but I can understand why the food is all fresh and organic. The only downside, is the staff can be unfriendly at times.

Paid extra for some olives, didn't get any olives. Ingredients aren't very fresh, it's kind of just a soggy pile of leftovers...
A	All_about_ food on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their salads are great no question but they are bit pricey. You have to choose the toppings, veggies, dressing on your own too unlike growing season. The veggies and meat that you add are good but their portions were too small compared to the huge bed of Kale that I got underneath which was way too much.

My broccoli wasn't marinated which made me a little sad, and the rice was half cooked. Otherwise it's really yummy and a very health conscious choice that doesn't leave you hungry.

Just fill out your card with a progression of easy picks, and the friendly staff builds your perfect salad... trust me, there's not bad choices, so great place to expand your taste buds. Chopsticks are standard, for reduced plastic consumption.
A	Ankush Verma on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love coming to Rebel Salad anytime I visit Thunderbay. They have a great selection of DIY salads with local ingredients. My favourite items are the croutons and the marinated mushrooms. The value is great too as for about $15 you can get a pretty large salad that will fill you up and make you feel great. I also love all the options as you can never get bored of their food.

I'll overlook the whole chopsticks for take-out due to everything else about this place being fantastic. I think that remark I made about the chopsticks earlier, is mainly due to my own chopstick insecurities. So yeah, that's probably more of a me issue I suppose. You can place an order for pick up online. Or place an order when you get there and not have to wait very long for them to throw it all together. This establishment is going to be around for a long time. Just from my perspective as a repeat customer, whenever I am in Rebel Salad, they are constantly preparing online and in person orders. Walk on in. Construct your masterpiece salad on the paper provided, then pass it to the pro. A few minutes later, they toss you back your Salad.
