Great, inexpensive haircuts. Can be hit or miss, but you are allowing hairdressing students to gain experience on your hair.

My appointment was suppose to be for 9 am, but for some reason they weren't open and I was stuck waiting until at least 9 20. No one would even answer the phone!

Awesome place and great customer service. I walked in without any appointment. A guy who received me and he gave me the best hairstyle exactly like I asked him, If I'm not wrong his name is "Daenerys". Thank you & I'll visit again.

If any student makes any mistake(some of the students are good) they will tell you that its a 13 dollar haircut school. U can't expect more than this (the professor himself said that). If the customer is not okay with that then they will make this look like a confrontation and will tell the customer to leave. Its obvious that people do mistake but covering it up with confrontation is quiet an unprofessional move. Even the students working there knows a lot about this but they can't say anything because its a school right ?

Recently, I went to NuWave and I asked for a purple balayage. I had seen so many coloured balayages on Instagram, and I had been trying for months to get one--on my own. I walked into the salon with level 4 dark brown hair. To make matters worse, I had bleach washed my hair a month prior, hence the dark brown box dye. My stylist was Cass. She is a bubbly "senior" student who has learned many techniques. Two of her instructors were also available to guide her through the whole process. Cass started by cutting some of the damage from the ends of my hair. Then, she did a backcomb balayage. She was able to miraculously get my hair to an appropriate level and the blend on the balayage was stunning. Afterwards, Cass evened out my root colour with a dark brown demi-permanent dye (to facilitate fading), and at the same time, she melted some fashion violet into the lightened portions. Last, Cass finished off the cut, and styled my hair in the most beautiful waves! As you can see in the photo, Cass did an amazing job! On top of it all, it costed me under $200, which is much less than a salon. I will definitely be going back to NuWave to get my hair done in the future. If you have read this far, I highly recommend that you visit the salon and support your local hair school!

A full service Racist institution, If you are a person of Color I would recommend not to pay a visit there. How do they get license to run a organization like that, I doubt. 0 Star……

Since about 6 months into the pandemic I started to think about going grey. When about 2 inches of my own grey was showing I just couldn’t handle the contrast my ends where between a level 4-5. I started to colour the roots with a semi permanent boxed dye, which left a nice golden halo effect! Today I had an appointment with Alicia S. she knocked the transformation outta the park!!! The atmosphere in the school from the instructors to the students is great. The instructors are there to lend a hand. But it was great listening to them question the students and having them think about what they needed to do, not spoon feeding them answers. The students help each other out when they can………. It’s all good learning experience.
