From the moment she answered the phone she offered her condolences and made me feel completely looked after. No pressure, just expert reassuring guidance through a very difficult and emotional time. Kim and Geoffrey look after every aspect involved with the death of a loved one, from dealing with Service Canada and vital statistics, to regular follw up phone calls to see how you are doing. The documentation on the pre-paid plan made everything SO straight forward and easy. The care we received at Alternatives was outstanding! Geoffrey was compassionate and efficient! Geoffrey and office staff were there to answer questions but also to provide ‘after checking’ for me as a family member. I have since recommended and provided the planning form Alternatives provides to 2 friends and 4 siblings and highly recommend filling that in to document YOUR wishes. Pre-paying for services you desire is also an option and from my experience, a super easy way to take the pressure off children and family members at what is usually a very emotional time.

Explain everything in detail as to what needs to be done while filling out paperwork. They help with everything that isn’t needed for you to actually do in person. They have beautiful urns available so you don’t have to look around 100 places to find one. For such a sad time in my life I had a great experience with this funeral and cremation home.
