Altered Image was founded in June of 1996 by Eric Sana, an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the fashion business. The company’s first shop was opened in an IGA store in Oakville, Ontario.
The concept of having alterations done while shopping for groceries was a big hit, and Altered Image quickly became a local attraction. Favourable exposure in the press contributed to Altered Image’s popularity and success, which meant expansion into new locations.
Today, Altered Image is one of the best known alterations shops in Canada, with locations inside Hudson’s Bay stores across the country.
The goal for Altered Image has always been to grow as a company while maintaining a long-held dedication to personalized customer care—through quality workmanship, prompt delivery and guaranteed satisfaction for every client. We work daily to achieve that goal.
