Great atmosphere, best equipment, clean, peaceful pool, best steam room and sauna on the ladies side. Have heard nothing but great things from other members that love Altea Active. A one stop shop for sure.

They are very aggressive in signing you up and once you’re in, it’s almost impossible to book into classes and first meeting with the trainer. One will wait more than 1 month to see one! What a joke! There are better gyms out there that will treat you better. I should have believed the reviews here. I cancelled my membership and hopefully won’t be charged more. Save yourself from headache, frustration and disappointment.

He is one of the best trainer. He encourages a lot and motivates to do better. I never thought I will be consistent or have confidence to go to the gym often before I started training with him. Thank you Altea. If you are looking for personal trainer, Altea is the one. Love the environment of the gym?.

The active kids club staff is lovely. The wide variety of classes and instructors are awesome. Parent and baby classes added to the schedule would be a cherry on top of a great club.

The people are friendly, the custodians are always keeping everything clean, and our personal trainer, Jeffrey Barrie is so knowledgeable, friendly, focused and encouraging! We feel we really lucked out! I have numerous issues with tight muscles and I can’t believe the improvement since starting with Jeff! You can tell he really knows what he is doing and I like that he explains our goals and how we will achieve them! THE BEST GYM EVER!!! So glad it is fairly close to me?

I’m constantly trying new things and have a plethora of options to match what I feel like my body and mind need on any given day. Love love love it and would recommend to anyone. I think you’d be surprised at how affordable it is, especially when you consider all the added value. If you’re thinking about making a change or just getting started, you should consider Altea. I wont be disappointed.
B	Bella K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you go for a tour of the place, you will be blown away. At first glance, Altea is easily the greatest gym ever. However, once you start working out there, you slowly start to realize how garbage of a place it is. First of all, the actual workout area is incredibly small. It is nearly impossible to go through a whole workout without at least having one of your desired equipment taken. Also not to mention the incredibly long wait times to get into the gym. Second, the gym is incredibly poorly maintained. One thing they are missing for equipment is a bunch of clips for attaching handles to the pulleys machines. Although this would take one trip to dollarama and only cost 5 dollars to get more than enough, I guess it is still too difficult for them. Also, two of their treadmills have some problems with the screens. Since half of the treadmills are blocked off due to separation, they would only need to rearrange some of the treadmills to fix the problem, but again this is too difficult for them. Finally, I had millions of problems with my membership. Not only did it take them a month to fix it so I could finally check myself in, but none of the staff knew what they were talking about. Every time someone would tell me something different and would never get anywhere. Avoid if can!!!

They have literally everything you need to start/continue your fitness journey. If you are a frontline worker, they have an amazing deal for you. The regular membership is very fairly priced as well. This gym has changed my life, let it change yours too.
